I scheduled a participant invite email for 72 hours in the future. A day has passed and it's now 48 hours before the scheduled send time.
Two questions:

  1. If I edit the participant invite message now, will the already-scheduled emails go out with my new edits in them? Or is the text of scheduled emails locked down at time of scheduling?

  2. If the answer to 1 is that the newly edited version will be sent, how much lead time do I have to edit before a scheduled email goes out? Is it an hour before the scheduled send time? A day? 10 minutes?

From personal experience I know that you can edit a message between the time it is scheduled and the time it distributes. The original copy is not locked in place.
I don't know when the point of no return is, but my guess is that it is no more than a minute before the scheduled distribution time. But even if it's less than that, I would suggest cutting it any closer than it would take to edit and save the message.
