* After sending the survey, 3 addresses bounced back.
* I created a new list for those 3 with corrected emails and sent out the survey (they got it and responded).
* I then corrected the addresses in the original email list.
* When I sent out the reminder, the same 3 bounced back again, but the the distribution history from the reminder showed the corrected email addresses for these 3 people
* Why does this happen?

Perhaps it just honestly still bounced these three people. Perhaps your email records are wrong.
Also bear in mind the difference between a hard bounce and a soft bounce. If soft bounce- the problem is 100% not on your end. Soft bounce means that the email was sent out, and it pinged their server, but the server did not take it for some reason. A hard bounce means it was deliverable. That could mean you have the record incorrect- it could also mean they aren't receiving it due to filters they set up.

Hi, @strategy! For your specific use case, I would recommend reaching out to our Support Team so that our Email Deliverability Team can look into this for you. 😀
Is there a way to differentiate between a hard bounce and a soft bounce?
