Why is it adding ".0" to the end of some of my variable names when exporting?
When exporting data in "Download Data Table" format to SPSS, it is renaming some of my variable names to include ".0" on the back end. For example, my question number in Qualtrics is "M01.Q13" and when exporting to SPSS the variable Name is "M01.Q13.0". It is not consistent, this is occurring on some questions but not others - and I can't find a consistency between the quesitons that it is/isn't occurring on.

One of the possible reason would be: your survey might have more than one question with same name. As SPSS allow unique variable names, it try to change duplicate variables by doing some tweaks. So you can try investigating in that line...
