Public-sector CX researchers: have you expanded your use of demographic questions? | XM Community

Good morning all! As some of you may have heard, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) relaxed its guidelines last year about demographic questions and that asking about ethnicity, race, and gender is no longer considered to be sensitive. OMB has also released guidance about asking questions about gender identity: SOGI-Best-Practices.pdf (whitehouse.gov)

I would love to hear from other Qualtrics users in the public sector about whether you have applied this relatively new guidance on asking ethnicity, race, or gender demographic questions in your surveys. If you have, have you received adequate responses from customers to be able to segment effectively? Have you received negative feedback about these questions? Please let me know as this will help us with our approaches to gathering customer feedback this year. Thanks in advance!
