Hello!

I am a student researcher trying to solve this without making my supervisor do it for me!

Basically, we have participants enter their email and then they receive a randomly generated ID code in an email. They are redirected to our actual survey and enter their ID there. The ID is needed to tie the responses in a longitudinal survey together - but we don’t want to attach their email to their responses.

Is there any way I can remove the ID codes from the data so the research team cannot see what ID each email/participant received?

I hope this all makes sense and I am more than happy to further clarify if needed. Hoping to avoid using CSS or Java as I have NO experience in coding. Thank you!
