• Restricting Special Characters: This solution, provided by wizard @TomG, outlines how to restrict respondents’ answers for open text questions so that they cannot use special characters. 


• Enforce Whole Numbers in Constant Sum Questions: You may want to require your respondents to enter whole numbers (i.e. numbers without decimals) in your survey. With this code from @rondev, you can do just that!


• Reducing Size of Multiple Choice Boxes: If you’ve ever wanted to modify the size of multiple choice boxes that appear for survey takers, check out this solution from the combined minds of @CodeCollective and @TomG!

XM Best Practices and Discussions

• Appointment Sign-up Survey with Zoom Links: Thanks to @ClairJ’s sage wisdom, you can use this solution to create an appointment sign-up survey that automatically emails respondents a link to a Zoom meeting for their selected time slot. 


• Best Practices for Tracking Daily Survey Results: If you need daily survey results delivered to your inbox, check out this solution from @Radam! You can set up a daily report email that only includes your newly collected responses for that day.

• Provide Verification to Respondents That a Survey Is Anonymous: While it’s possible to anonymize your survey so that no identifying information is captured about the respondent, your respondents have no way of verifying that the survey is truly anonymous. This idea lets respondents know that the survey they’re taking is completely anonymous. 


• Dynamic Visualization Colors: This idea would allow your report and dashboard visualizations to change colors dynamically based on conditions you set.


• Save CX Dashboard Action Planning Filters: When viewing action plans in a CX Dashboard, this idea would let you save your filters so they are automatically applied the next time you visit your action plans.

• Add the Ability to Sort the User Search Columns: This feature will allow you to sort the users that are returned when a Brand Admin searches for users in their license. 


• Include an Undo Button in Dashboards: If you’ve ever accidentally edited a widget in a dashboard, this feature is for you. We’re introducing the ability to undo edits to dashboard widgets.
