Weekly Features - Released On Or Before August 23, 2023

 

Workflows

  • Output Search Within Workflow Run History: You can now search workflow run history based on task output values. Typing in a keyword or value will return a list of runs that contain that keyword or value. Search is not currently available for all task types.
  • Auto Retry Options for Task Failures: New setting for workflows that allows you to control how tasks in your workflow will be retried if they fail.

New Support Pages

  • Data Security & Privacy for Digital Experience Analytics: This new page details how users can adhere to applicable data privacy and security regulations while using Digital Experience Analytics, in particular explaining the tools available to manage customer data and consent within session replay.

Lifecycle

  • Emails (Lifecycle): The interface for sending email messages in Lifecycle projects has been updated with several notable improvements. You can now send emails to a participant’s personal email address and you can include an inline email question in your email. You can still schedule single and recurring project invites and reminders. Please note that this feature replaces Lifecycle Message Automations. The support site content for this feature will be published on September 20.

For the lifecycle email change that is happening, do I understand this correctly that you will be able to send the email to a different email then the participant email? If we had a personal email field we could send it there instead? If so, that's great for exit survey’s!

I’m also keen to hear more about sending to a personal email address (lifecycle or otherwise) - will this allow sending of the same survey link to both a personal email and another email address without the possibility of duplicating responses (i.e. they are considered as one respondent rather than two)?

This functionality is sorely lacking in the student feedback space (Qualtrics Course Evaluations) so it would be exciting to see it being delivered in one part of the platform, so hopefully we can see it in other places soon!

  1. Yes, that is the case. The personal email will need to be titled “Personal Email” in order for the workflow to pick it up.
  2. Yes, they will be considered the same respondent, as the same personal link will be sent to them.
