Thanks rondev, but unfortunately that didn't run. I also tried the following, but they didn't work either. $(this.questionId).find('label.SingleAnswer:eq(1)'); $(this.questionId).select('label.SingleAnswer:eq(1)');
Thanks @C_Bohn, but that doesn't seem to work. It just crashes and doesn't even hide the cell.
Thanks for the tip. I've done it like this, which seems to work. :) var valQ10 = "${q://QID73/SelectedChoicesRecode}"; var arrQ10 = new Array(); arrQ10 = valQ10.split(",") for(var i=0;i<arrQ10.length;i++) { for (var j = 1; j <= 12; j++) { if (arrQ10[i]==j) { this.setChoiceValueByRecodeValue(j,true); } } }
Thanks, but neither of those solutions stops it turning pale orange when I select one of the options. :-(
Thanks. I was planning to use the Javascript in a separate (displayed) question, which is why I need to know how to refer to QID123 from another question. How would I hide QID123 using JavaScript? And does this mean it's not possible to refer to a different question than the one you're currently on?
Thanks for your replies. This syntax below doesn't work. Is that what you meant, @bstrahin? (I've corrected the ID number in my actual syntax). if ("${q://QID1/ChoiceGroup/SelectedChoices}"==2) {this.setChoiceValue(2, true)} QID1 and QID2 are not on the same page, no. My intention is to hide QID2 and use it for filtering and validation later on, but it's not currently hidden.
