If you were checking the "published version" by clicking on the anonymous link or using a personal link, it is quite likely that your progress was saved from an earlier session that you had open. Try to create a new personal link or open the anonymous link in an incognito window, and it should bring up the latest version of the survey. This is extremely common among Qualtrics users who test their surveys extensively 😉
Hi Jorge,I do not think this is something that is possible in the platform right now, unless you want to create a automation script (like browser automation, not Qualtrics API) that does this.I would probably try to contact Qualtrics support and see if their engineering team can perhaps do a sweep for you. I'm guessing if you have 100k+ lists, you probably work on Qualtrics pretty extensively and they'd be alright with doing an occasional wiping on the distribution list, especially, if that is the reason why it is slowing down your project. The next best option is to probably create a new project (possibly import data over, but this can also slow down re-indexing times) and work in a project that is not so bloated with distribution lists.Hope that helps!
Hi Brendontroy,It might depend on how you are having participants take the survey (ie. Anonymous links or Personal links) A static list is probably easy to update if you are just using anonymous link, as it will be updated, almost immediately (best if you turn of save and continue in survey options) and since this is a text-entry question, the changes that you make to the static list will not affect data that you already collected, even if you completely change the list (unlike multiple choice questions and many other question types)However, if you do wish to make the list more "dynamic" you could reference another survey's data as the source by having the survey open to multiple responses that you can add new responses to.(ie. Have a one question survey set up as the supplemental data source and have the autocomplete question reference this Supplemental Data Survey. Also, you probably want to "import" the initial answer choices as responses into this survey. For future updates, you c
You may want to try exporting the data with the legacy exporter, it contains, pretty much everything that Qualtrics has recorded for your responses. If it isn't there, unfortunately, you may be out of luck, but I think it should be there. (Though, I know some randomization orders are not tracked by Qualtrics, if there are a couple layers of complexity ~in this case, reference surveys)
You may be able to accomplish something close to what you are trying to achieve by combining a multiple answer multiple choice (changing the settings on the right to "Column" or changing it to horizontal)Then, use carry forward on the selected choices to the next question which you can set up as a Rank Order.Essentially, you splitting the "picking" and "ranking" parts into two separate questions.Hopefully, that helps in an urgent time.
