I am new to qualtrics so the answer that I'm providing must be taken with a pinch of salt. So, I am assuming that you have your logic right and are already able to differentiate when your question fetches only one choice in your single choice(carry forward) question that follows the multiple choice multiple answer question. Thereafter, you need to add this line of code in javascript of your carry forward question: document.getElementById(document.getElementsByClassName('q-radio').item(0).htmlFor).checked = true; You can use an embedded data which can be set to 1 if there is only one choice that is carried forward, 0 otherwise. If you don't want to display this carry forward question to the user if it has only one choice, you can check if the embedded data is set to 1 and can skip to the next page directly by using: $('NextButton').click();
What kind of elements are you using to fetch the input from the user. Is it a textbox, dropdown or something else. Once that is known, you can add an eventlistener on the said element that monitors the changes being made to it and would then calculate the value by multiplying the quantity of the product by its price and then display it. Displaying such a value can be done in two ways: As an alert OR By using a jQuery on the innerHTML of the span tag to display it on the webpage. ($(spanId).innerHTML = calculated_value;)

Well, I have realized a mistake that I was making previously. The solution given by @mattyb513 works perfectly. The only thing that needs to be done is that 'this.questionID' needs to be stored in a variable first. It would be of great help if you could explain me how the rowId and choiceId looks like. I tried inspecting the element but am not sure where I am going wrong as the id which I tried doesn't seem to work. This is what I've done: Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.registry[this.questionId].setChoiceValue('5', i, false); 'i' is the variable that I am using in the for loop to deselect all the choiceIds.
I don't know if I am understanding your question correctly but I assume that you are trying to increase the width of all the pages of your survey. This can be done by going to Look and Feel -> Advanced Tab -> Add Custom CSS Code and then writing this line of code within: .Skin .SkinInner {width: 90%} The width percentage can be modified as per you needs.
Actually, the question doesn't have a single row of radio buttons but a 5x5 matrix of radio buttons. In each row, the user can select one radio button. I want to be able to deselect a radio button in the last row (5th row). The answer that you've posted works for just a single row of radio buttons. If there is a way to use this same format to deselect a column in the 5th row of the matrix, then do let me know.
Using embedded data in conjunction with display logic has solved the problem. I am setting an embedded variable using javascript when the alert pops up and then checking its value in the display logic of each question to decide on whether to display that particular question (Just as @TomG has suggested).
Actually, I don't need to go to the next question on next button click. I need to move to a question which is around 5-6 questions further ahead. So, when the alert pops up and the user closes it(using 'OK' button or 'x' button of the alert box), I need the user to skip 5 questions and directly move to the sixth one. In short, if alert pops up, skip 5 questions and move to 6th question, else display the next question. I need some sort of branching logic or a javascript that jumps to the QID of the question directly.
Well, I am now able to change the font-size of text-box by adding a custom CSS file in the Look and Feel section. Here is the code for the same: input[type=text] { font-size:30px; } Hope this post might help someone facing the same problem. Thanks.
