@NotSoAnonymous OMG this looks so complicated..... How you people do these things... Clever clogs!!! Thank you all for your help, I do appreciate it a lot.
@akshay11 thank you for that. I've looked into the survey flow and it does look very complicated. I would never even dream it to do it on my own. I have created a new project using your file. So now that new project I need to design as I wanted and the 'survey flow'/randomisation should work.
> @LaurenK said: > Hey @Iwona! Check out this page about importing a QSF survey into your account! :) @LaurenK thank you for that.
@akshay11 sorry but I'm not that tech person and I can't even open your attachment. what sort of programme do I need to be able to open it?
@NotSoAnonymous yes, those set of 4 questions after ads are all the same in every block
Yes. each person will see 16 ads (8 fake ones and 8 manipulated ones). if I use one of your options given above, how shall I set up randomising then?
@Kate @bstrahin Thank you for your help. Is all working fine now :)
> @Kate said: > @Iwona Maybe give us a screenshot? Or send a preview link? I think we could help better if we could see what is going on. This is preview link. once you see 4 ads in a row... then those 4 questions will come up.... and then after another 4 ads same questions will follow and they will be prefilled answers coming up https://aruspsych.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/preview/SV_ezguyouPXybWmqN?Q_SurveyVersionID=current&Q_CHL=preview
> @bstrahin said: > @Iwona check that you somehow didn't set up default answers. This article will show you where to look: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/question-options/add-default-choices/ I checked that and my questions don't have set up answers.
@Mohammedali_Rajapakar_Ugam @bstrahin @Kate Guys, I just created 4 questions and they are on their own in 4 separate blocks. I made sure that they are placed in the right order (in between the ads etc) using 'survey flow'. I have just checked if it is working (no prefilled answers) and no, it's not working. It gives me prefilled answers again. Any idea what that could be? Does it make a difference that I'm in the preview mode or something?
thank you all for your help. Appreciate a lot.
@AnthonyR Thank you very much for your help. It looks like its working!!! Thank you, everyone, for taking a time to help me. much appreciated.
@PradeepKotian Thank you for this. I have done it exactly the same as on your picture however, the 'next' button still appears on the bottom of the site. When I previewed it I clicked on the page and it jumped straight away to the next page/ad which I don't really want to. I want participants to look/stay on the ads 5s only (without skipping or missing any). Any idea what could be wrong? I've asked technicians but they don't know.
@PradeepKotian , thank you for your message. I've got the timing set up already but 'Next' button still appears? What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for your reply :) I'm sorry to be a pain (I'm not that experienced in this) but do I need to paste your coding into this? The first option in particular? sorry I couldn't paste the print screen into it so I copied Javascript options. Edit Question JavaScript Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() { /*Place your JavaScript here to run when the page loads*/ }); Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnReady(function() { /*Place your JavaScript here to run when the page is fully displayed*/ }); Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnUnload(function() { /*Place your JavaScript here to run when the page is unloaded*/ });
