Hi @JenF ! I'm running site intercepts on several sites with different traffic volumes and for lower traffic sites I often set up a filter in my web analytics to show the number of visitors on the site for different amounts of time. I use that to see what percentage of visitors would have the opportunity to be presented with my intercept. That lets me target visitors who have been on the site long enough that I can assume they are trying to accomplish a task on the site but still reaching a good percentage of site visitors. For reference, one of my sites receives 15-20k visits per month and I've found that 60 seconds has been good timing for a website satisfaction survey invitation.
Hi @Dax ! Yes, you can definitely see the debug window on your published code. Once you've selected the intercept you're wanting to test live, navigate to Get Intercept Code in the top menu (the same place you would go to test code still being edited). Next, make sure you select the radio button next to "Published Version" and you will get a bookmark link for your Published code. ! ! You can drag this link to your bookmark link and use it on your website just like the editing link.
Hi @Barnaby ! I don't have any direct experience with Tealium but I have successfully deployed Zone Code using both Google Tag Manger and Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager. I used a custom HTML tag containing the code and had it fire on all pages and my intercepts have all displayed correctly.
Hi Poppy! You can definitely test your intercept before your zone code is added. Simply select your intercept and in the menu bar click on Get Intercept Code. In the window, make sure you select the radio button next to "Editing Version". ! Once you do that you will see a gray bookmark link created below the code block. Simply drag that into your bookmark bar and you're ready to test. After that, go to the website you would like to test your intercept on and while on the page, click your new bookmark link. You will see a pop-over window appear in the lower left-hand corner of your screen that will show you the intercept criteria that was used. If your intercept does not behave the way you expected or did not appear, this window will let you know what step caused it to fail. ! You can use this information to make any changes needed and retest until you are happy with your intercept.
