Right now the only way to get a list of all projects is in the "Export Stats to CSV" button at the bottom of the Brand Admin Summary Report page. If you select Survey Stats as the export type and set the start date to when/before your brand started, it will include all projects in your brand. Automating this properly can't quite be done yet, as there is still no way to get all survey IDs for all users through the API without (and this was Qualtrics' suggestion) generating an API key for each user and running List Surveys while impersonating the user. As for managing the surveys directly, the only option other than the User tab is using API calls.
As uhrxx005 suggested, a usertype specifically for that technical support would probably be the best way to tackle it. Access to the API can be granted for that usertype, but the ability to create/distribute surveys would be disabled. The only issue they may run across is if any of the Brand Admin API calls are needed. If so, they would require Brand Admin accounts and would receive all of the privileges that come with it.
Hi riceball, you can use the list users call to first get the IDs of all users in your brand, then run get user on each one to retrieve their permissions. The API permission looks like it's in result > permissions > controlPanel > accountPermissions > accessAPI in the JSON that's returned.
Hi uhrxx005, I did some searching in the support pages and found this is mentioned briefly in https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/sp-administration/managing-users/creating-and-managing-users/#CreatingNewUserAccounts as step 6. I played around with it a little bit, it allows you to add a "page" containing another website that the user might find useful. As an example, I added the Qualtrics Support page as something I can access directly after logging in to my account: ! A new tab in the top right menu is added for Add-Ons, which then provides a toolbar that lists any add-on tabs: !
Thanks Michelle! Do you see many student requests for groups? I haven't quite figured out if I should be wary of being flooded with requests for groups that will see use for maybe a semester or two. Also, do you have a naming scheme of some kind for group names?
First thing I can think of to do it, would be to first assign those three different user types to specific users, then use the get user API call (https://api.qualtrics.com/docs/get-user) on those three users. Doing this will require some scripting knowledge however. I don't think there's anything currently built into the permissions management that will allow for an easy export unfortunately. Edit: After looking at the results that gets, I'm not sure I'd even recommend doing that. The permission names you get from it are pretty cryptic, and I don't see anything regarding the theme permissions either.
