Is it possible to specify the frequency with which some options are chosen within a block? For example a 0.25/0.75 split instead of even split?
I have a survey where the set of questions a respondent sees from Block B depends on whether or not he/she saw a particular question in Block A (the questions contain similar material, and so we obviously want to avoid this). The details: both blocks contain 4 unique questions, but Block B branches such that if question 1 from Block A is shown, respondents are only randomized into 3 question options, whereas if question 1 from A is not shown, respondents have the chance of seeing all 4 questions from B.My question is this: If the block ordering is fully randomized, will the branching effect hold even if Block B is shown before Block A? In other words, does this branching logic hold regardless of block order? This is not clear from the survey-flow platform and I've seen randomization instances that make me suspect otherwise. Thank you.
Hi community,I'm very new to javascript and Qualtrics custom coding so my issue may be a simple one but it doesn't seem to have a solution presented anywhere. In my survey I implement some js code to randomize the use of a term across questions. For example:// randomly select termvar term_array = ["big", "scary", "inviting", "attractive", "confusing", "opaque"];var rnd = Math.floor(Math.random()*6);var term = term_array[rnd];var out = `Does the above image look ${term} to you?`;The string in the variable "out" is then outputted to an html script which displays the question. The problem is that everything in the outputted string except the placeholder is being displayed when I preview the question. So to illustrate, if term = "scary", instead of displaying "Does the above image look scary to you?" the output displayed is "Does the above image look to you?"This is unexpected because when I check the code in other javascript editors (such as https://js.do), the correct output is always di
