Hi All,I have a peculiar question / use case:I am looking for the ability to pipe the subject’s average score across their previous evaluators (from a scoring category, or from a questions [which would be a work around]) into the survey for future evaluators.In short, I’d like to display something like “Previous evaluators have rated this subject a 4.5 on average” into the survey for a new evaluator. As far as I can tell, we can pipe in subject’s metadata into evaluators’ surveys - but I’d love a way to pipe in the subject’s previous evaluators’ answers into an evaluator’s new response. Any ideas how to accomplish this?Thanks!
Hi All, From searches in the Community, I know plenty of people are interested in a timer that does not "reset" when the page is refreshed (as the Qualtrics Timer question type does). I have been working on a solution / workaround, and I have found something that works - but I have problems getting it to work on mobile devices. Brief description of my solution: * Before each block, set embedded data field "TimeStartedBlock" = Q_TotalDuration * Then, use JavaScript to pull in "TimeStartedBlock" as well as current Q_TotalDuration * Use JavaScript to do a few computations to check whether the timer is expired, and click the Next button if that is the case Here is what it looks like: ``` Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnReady(function() { var MaxTime = parseInt("${e://Field/TimePerBlock}"); /// Set this once in Survey Flow var TimeStart = parseInt("${e://Field/TimeStartedBlock}"); /// Before each block, set this embedded data field to equal Q_TotalDuration var TimeNow = parseInt("${
Hi all, I am using a dynamic theme with the classic layout. I use CSS to format the color and hover characteristics of buttons for MC and multi-select "buttons" / boxes. Is there a way to override these settings for a single question? What I am trying to achieve is the following (maybe someone has a better idea for it): - I have a traditional MC questions - Underneath it (or even to the right of it), I am trying to create a button or link that would allow me to display a text entry question underneath with in-page display logic. (Basically, after each MC question, respondents should have the option to open up a comment box.) - If I use a traditional MC or MS question for it, it looks very inelegant because the "button" I create is large and colored. I am hoping to style it very minimally (e.g., white on white with no border, and blue underlined text) Any help is appreciated! Thanks, G2000
Hi Qualtrics Community! I am trying to use javascript to write a value to embedded data based on the current questions Recoded Values. I know how to do this if the QuestionID is known, but I don't know how to string the code toegether to refer to this.questionId (I'd like to use the same javascript for a large number of questions without modifying it to refer to the specific question IDs). The functionality I am looking for is essentially "If this.questionId's SelectedChoicesRecode = 1 then set embedded data "c" = 1, else "c" = 0. Any pointers are appreciated! G2000
Hi Folks, Has anyone been able to figure out how to add evaluators (ideally with a custom relationship) to a subject via the 360 API? I cannot find anything in the documentation, but given the other calls available, I was relatively certain that this is something that should be supported. Any help is appreciated!
Hi all, I am trying to select default answers based on embedded data. The problem I have is two-fold: First, and most importantly: I cannot figure out how to select different values for several different drop-down options in the same Matrix Table. I found the following online, which lets me select the SAME answer on all dropdowns in the same question (in this example, the second from the bottom): if($('QID17')) {$$('#QID17 select').each(function(s){ s.value = (s[s.length-2].value); }) } But how do I adapt this to select different answers for the different drop-downs? Second, my current JavaScript is long, using "IF embeddeddataX = 1 THEN set answer to 1, IF embeddeddataX = 2 THEN set answer to 2, ..." I am looking for a more elegant way to use the numeric value from embedded data to set the answer choice. Any help is appreciated!
