Hey fellas, I'm having a really weird problem that's really leaving my scratching my head. I've got a survey setup to to send a follow-up email to the survey participants parents, with a linked survey followed by an ID number to link it to the child (srid) and a number identifying which parent is responding (pnum). However, I've tested it a couple times and for some reason the URL is included in the email multiple times, in various semi-complete iterations. I've included all of the relevant workflows.^^^ this is what the email ends up looking likeAny help would be appreciated :)
I've been playing around with some custom content going into an email which is sent out to respondents after they finish the survey, but (quite randomly) the email has stopped sending during my tests. I'm a bit new to qualtrics so don't know if there's any sort of debugging tool, so instead I've just been dumbing down the code as far as I can go to try to find the issue. Bottom line is, I can't find it. Notably also, the "run history" tab doesn't even report the workflow having fired, which makes me think that there's something wrong with the "survey response" trigger. I've tried unchecking the "newly created responses" and "responses updated via the qualtrics API" conditions (I'm not sure if previewed surveys are remembered or not) but that also didn't help.Or maybe there's another problem, like qualtrics is sick of sending me emails? I tried sending my test emails to a different address but no dice there either.I've attached some images to help explain what I'm seeing.
Hello there! I'm a bit new to qualtrics, so don't quite know how customizable some of this stuff is. I'm planning on sending out a parent-student survey, where responses will be anonymous but I would like to be able to keep the parent's results linked to their respective student. The best idea I've had so far is to, on the same page where parents will sign for consent ('page 1' of the student survey), include a random password generator (something 4-5 characters long, nothing complicated) and a link for the parents to click to head to the parent survey. When they follow that link, they would then be asked to enter in that same password so that I'll be able to match the parents with the students at a later date. That randomly generated code would also need to be auto-populated into a similar field in the students survey, of course. How should I go about doing this? Or perhaps there's a less round-about way of sending out linked surveys I don't know about?
I'm conducting a survey which will contain a few legal terms which may be confusing for survey-takers. If there any way to add a little "?" next to a word which the survey-taker would be able to click on or hover over to get the definition to show up?
