Salesforce App Qualtrics integration issue

Hi everyone,I am facing an issue with the Salesforce Qualtrics integration.Use case:Customer data will be sent to Qualtrics from Salesforce through Salesforce Outbound workflow.Once the response is recorded, the data will be sent back to Salesforce - Response mapping workflow.We would also want to visualize the Qualtrics dashboard in Salesforce- using Salesforce App feature. Issue:As I installed the App in Salesforce to connect Qualtrics, the existing workflow for Outbound message suddenly crashed and now it says that it is unable to connect to the account.We tried troubleshooting the issue, reverting the permissions back to the original ones, still the issue persist. Has anyone come across this issue while enabling the Salesforce App.

Response in Survey 1 determines questions in surveys 2-6

Hi all! I am creating a longitudinal study that spans 7 days. The day 1 survey will ask some demographics questions, and based on a participants responses to these questions, I would like the following surveys to display specific questions. For example, in survey 1 if a participant states that they have 2 siblings, in surveys 2-6 they should be showed questions about having 2 siblings; if they stated they have 3 siblings, they should be shown questions about having 3 siblings. Thus, I would like to create survey flow/logic based on answers from previous surveys. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Setting up email delivery of surveys

I am trying to set up a qualtrics survey as a way of sending referrals across department committees. In the survey, a committee name would be selected. I would then like the committee chair to receive the survey form that was completed/submitted.Does anybody know how to set this up? Thank youTricia M.

Final summary PDF is showing original embedded response option and not updated response option

Hi, I am having trouble where the final summary PDF that a respondent can download after completing the survey, is not showing the new responses to questions that were embedded with data from a previous year’s survey. Here is what I’ve done to set up the embedded data.I have a contact list with embedded data which I use to pre-populate multiple choice questions from a previous year’s survey to this year’s survey. In the survey flow, I’ve added a block at the beginning (before the survey questions block) to set embedded data by using the “add from contacts” option.For select single-select multiple choice questions in my survey, I want to embed a respondent’s answer from the previous year’s survey but if they want to make changes to their answer this year, I want to overwrite last year’s response and save the new response. Zendesk Ticket Update with Survey Lauch

We're not getting much insight from support into solving our Zendesk use case problem other than "its Zendesk problem" but I have a hard time believing that what we're doing is an edge case. We are using the workflow template but the final task isn't letting us update a ticket if we are not updating fields that are required on the ticket itself. The fields that cause the error are fields are required to close, therefore are populated before our distribution trigger kicks-off. They are also dropdowns in Zendesk but the task doesn’t let us just pipe the selection that came in with the task back to the case to update the field we want to. We’re just trying to add a tag that a survey was sent so we don’t erroneously send surveys if the ticket is reopened or updated in Zendesk after the survey is distributed. Has anyone else seen this or found ways to accomplish this with the Zendesk extension. I suspect we’ll have the same issue when we try to send the satisfaction score back to the case a

Text formatting in Salesforce workflow

Hi,We are automatically creating a task and assigning it to a person in SF based on certain criteria. We would like to created a nice looking text with paragraphs in the SF Task Description field. However, it seems like the Qualtrics Workflow only allows text as a line without breaks etc. Anyone knows how to get around it?

Set survey duration as condition in workflow

Hi there! I’m creating a workflow where survey respondents will be sent an email after finishing the survey. I want to send the email to those satisfy a condition of survey duration (e.g., >600 seconds), in addition to a series of validation questions. However, in Qualtrics workflow, there does not seem to be field about duration, unlike in the survey dataset. Can anyone here provide suggestions on how to deal with this? Thanks in advance.

Text iQ Topics visible in Ticket Information

Hello Community, We have the typical Ticketing system based on text analytics, and I’m trying to use the Text iQ Topics identified in the responses as visible information in the Tickets but i couldnt find a way. Is it possible?Another solution could be make Workflows exclusive (idk if this is possible too), because we have 7 workflows, one for each topic but when the response has more than one topic associated we dont want to trigger more than one Ticket. Thanks for any help!

Ticketing Logic Not Working, Creating Duplicates - Need Help!

I am trying to route tickets based on their contact reason. Specifically, when customers indicate Claims to our claims team, and all other tickets when customers indicate reasons other than claims. I created two workflows, but for some reason they both seem to be running and creating tickets, basically ignoring my logic. Does anyone have any insights? I copied and modified the workflow, adjusting that specific logic. Is my nesting off or something? See pics.

Send summary of responses on a specific date

I'm trying to develop an anoymous survey that my respondents may complete anytime between Friday-Thursday. I then want everyone who responded to receive a summary of the responses the next Friday. For instance, the survey would be released on Friday, April 29. Respondents would have until Thursday, April 6 to complete it. Then, on April 7, everyone who completed the survey would receive a summary of their responses. I tried email workflows triggered by their submission, but that only allows me to send the email after a specific time frame has elapsed; that would mean everyone would get their summary at a different time. I tried emails based on a time-based workflow, but that doesn't allow me to pipe in text from the survey responses. Is this possible?

difficulty selecting specific questions using the 'extract response from survey' task

Hi All, I’m trying to use this task to setup a scheduled export (which will be sent to a SFTP server). I need to use this task ('extract response from survey) as I believe it’s the only one that will allow to use a preset response filter. My problem is that when I go to select the questions, they show up as the question text and not the Question number or label. This makes it near impossible to ensure you select the correct questions as some of the question text we use is generic (eg. we have a number of questions following a CSAT multiple choice question which states ‘please explain why?’). What is the solution to this? Is there a way to show the questions (or even QID numbers in this list) so that I can be sure I select the correct questions to export? Relying on the order is probably not advisable given the window is so small. In my example below the two questions cannot be identified without making sure the question text is unique which realistically we can’t do in the survey

Dynamically assign priority of tickets

Hi all, we have a lot of workflows that differ only in the priority. The priority is based on the NPS score. (The priority of dectractors is high, etc..).Is it possible to assign this via an embedded data variable? This would significantly reduce the number of workflows and thus the effort required when changes are necessary.I didn't find anything about this in the support pages or in the community.

Why is my Survey skipping one of my branches

Hi all! Here is my survey flow:The question the arrowed branch is referring to is directly before it and the participant can reply yes, no, and unsure. In preview, if I click yes it shows the branched block and then continues like normal. However, if I click either no or unsure it completely skips the block I wanted it to show and moves on to the next part (the very bottom block in this image. Why is it skipping it? I haven’t used randomisers so it can’t be that. If I move the yes branch before it, it still works and the no/unsure still skips. How do I fix this?

Deleting responses abyssmaly slow

For the past few weeks, whenever I go to clean my data set and delete bad responses, Qualtrics has taken a reallllly long time to process the request. Is there something going on behind the scenes that has caused this sudden slow down?

Hi everyone,I wanted to send an email to the participant during the survey with the following requirements.1) It should be sent when a certain button on a certain page is pressed - I know this can be done by setting a condition in the email trigger.2) In the email content, I would need to include a variable, whose value depends on the progress of the survey. Saving dates and times as fields for Google Calendar event

Trying to think of the most elegant solution for the following:We would like survey respondents to pick from a pre-specified list of dates/times for an information session. This list of dates and times will change as time goes on (when we reach the month of August, the list will show August and September dates; when we reach the month of September, the list will show September and October dates, etc.). After the person submits, the survey will trigger a google calendar invite using the date and time that they pick in the survey using this: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/actions-page/tasks/google-calendar-task/For example, there would be a question that asks them to pick a date/time: August 6th @ 4:00PMAugust 10th @ 3:00PMAugust 13th @ 2:00PMSeptember 7th @ 10:00AMSeptember 10th @ 2:00PMBased on their response, the workflow will create a google calendar event for that choice. Email Received Event Replacement

I know that Qualtrics is depreciated the Email Received Event this quarter, but are their plans to replace it with an improves solution? We are just building our closed-loop system and I had planed to use this event workflow to allow queries that come in directly through email to be forwarded for ticket creation.

Choice options based on group

I have a survey for social network analysis that I’m running into issues with how to most efficiently show choice options that need to carry forward to other questions. I have 22 groups of respondents(partners)that will need to identify the other partners in the group they collaborate with. Currently, I have an initial sorting question (which group), which then shows a different block for each group that starts with a list of partners to choose themselves from, then the rest of the network questions carry forward the unselected choices. The issues I’m running into are 1)this is really huge and messy. I have 22 blocks with the same questions, just a different set of partners that are available to choose from 2) it turns out some partners are in multiple groups- so in order to get their full participation they would need to complete the survey twice OR answer the same set of questions twice with different partner options shown which doubles the length of the survey. I am building skip logic in the loop and merge. Consider my question like this: I have 12 treatment options for a specific road, and for each treatment type, the respondents must select a few options from a matrix. I build all treatment options in a loop and merge with the matrix of options outside. If a specific respondent does not use a specific treatment on the road, he should skip that and move to the subsequent treatment in the loop and merge. How should I arrange this?

How to randomize equally for multiple segments?

Hello! I am writing a survey where I’ll have 4 segments by device type and will create a variable to categorize them. There will be 25 per segment. I also need to show two different question sets to half of all respondents. I’d like each device type segment to be equally divided (can be off one since it’s an odd number) so that I don’t end up with the entire sample being equally divided while the different device types are not. I know how to create the variables for the device types and I know how to randomize blocks, but not sure how I can assure each segment is equally divided 50/50 between the question sets. Appreciate any thoughts! Thanks!

Can we dynamically assign tickets from a workflow?

Hello,We've created a follow-up workflow in our survey.Current workflow layout:We are struggling to dynamically assign the individual advisor as the ticket owner. Currently, it is being assigned to the whole team. Note: we don't want to put a whole team and we don't want to put one user, we want the owner to be dynamically assigned to the advisor attached to the student.Current ticket layout:Also, the email task we set up is not working to send out emails.Current email layout:Appreciate your help!
