Hello!I am launching a hotel/resort survey and I would like guests to be able to take the survey multiple times throughout the year. In order to accomplish this, I developed a two part solution. Create a workflow that upon completion of the survey, updates a contact list with the guests confirmation ID ONLY. At the top of the flow, I have a pre-fill authenticator that checks this list to see if the guests current confirmation #, passed in through the URL (variable is named conf), is on the list. If it IS on the list, meaning they have taken the survey already with this confirmation #, I send them directly to the EOS message. Only allow one attempt, so if the confirmation # is not on the list, aka they haven’t taken the survey yet, it skips the branch, and just continues with the survey. The only problem is that… It’s not working. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but I can’t get it to work for the life of me. I’ll attach some screen shots of how I have the authenticator set up. If anyo
I am fielding a survey with between 20-30 respondents taking a survey all in one location. Out of each group, about 3 or 4 randomly lose their place in the survey and are sent back to the beginning. There’s no rhyme or reason to where this is taking place. It seems very random. Has anyone seen this problem occur? Is there a solution?
I want to distribute a survey to Hotel/Resort guests. I will distribute using a third party software that will append variables into the URL. I want respondents to be able to take the survey once for each stay (or each unique reservation ID), so I will use a variable called ReservationID=XXXXX, and append it into the URL.Question: If I have prevent multiple submissions turned on, will changing the ReservationID in the link allow respondents to submit a new response?Supposedly Prevent Multiple Submissions puts a cookie into your browser that prevents users from taking the survey multiple times, but it seems like a slight change to the URL will allow them to take it again.Another note: I cannot create a contact list and use an authenticator, as there are too many respondents coming in every day to make this feasible. Sorry for the multiple posts guys. I’ll update current posts in the future.
Hello!I am designing a survey for Hotel/Resort guests. It’s possible these guests may visit multiple times throughout the year. If so, I want them to be able to take the survey multiple times, once for each unique reservation numbers, which will be passed in through the link. Any idea how I should set this up? I want to turn OFF prevent multiple submissions, and validate using the unique reservation number instead. Am I overthinking this? Will I achieve this effect if I turn ON prevent multiple submissions?
I am piping in a confirmation number from the URL. I want respondents to be authenticated based on this confirmation number. With each new stay, they will have a new confirmation number, and should be ale to take the survey again. Any thoughts on how to do this?
