Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to Qualtrics and I have some troubles in custom code with Javascript. In my survey I need to have many drop down lists in the same question; I succeeded in doing this through the Matrix Table, Profile, Drop Down list. The only issue is that the different questions have a different number of possible choices and, editing the scale points, the ones with less choices have a huge number of empty rows. Looking on internet, I found out that I have to use the code " " in order to leave the row empty but I'm not able to hide the row through Javascript. This is the result I have been able to achieve by now: ! On Qualtrics community (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/48425329/hiding-certain-choices-in-a-qualtrics-matrix), I found out this code as a way to solve my issue (it was actually related to a side by side question but, as I'm still working with a table, I though it could have been a solution): { $('QR~QID1~1~2').up('td').childElements().invoke('hide'
Hi everyone, I'm back here to make a second question regarding the Javascript custom code. Last time, I was asking hot to custom code a Matrix Table with multiple drop down lists having a different number of possible choices. The code had the aim to hide empty rows deriving from the smaller number of items in some drop downs. Thanks to this community I was able to resolve the problem (this is the link to the question: https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/2052/how-to-custom-code-multiple-drop-down-lists-with-diverse-number-of-choices-to-hide-empty-items#latest). Now everything works with Firefox and Google Chrome browsers but, if I use Safari, the code seems to be not working (below you can see a picture of what I see on the screen). Do you have any suggestions to solve this problem? Have you ever faced similar issues with Safari? Thank you very much in advance, Claudio !
Good morning, I come to you because I have a question about the distribution of a survey. The question is related to the "reminder message" that can be sent to the unfinished respondents of a questionnaire (distributed via email directly composed in Qualtrics, through a list inserted in the contacts). In this regard, I would like to know if it would be possible to send two different e-mails based on the percentage of completion of the questionnaire (one for those who are at 0% and one for those who have partially completed the questionnaire). Is it possible to send a reminder e-mail only to some of the contacts already reached with the distribution e-mail and not to everyone? Moreover I have a question about the distribution of the questionnaire by e-mail: is it somehow possible to view and download the links automatically created and sent to individual e-mail addresses by Qualtrics during the distribution? Thank you in advance for the answers, Claudio
Good morning, I come to you because I have a question about the analysis of survey responses. The question concerns the division of respondents into "recorded responses" and "responses in progress". Exporting data I have seen that some answers are classified as finished although the percentage of completion is less than 100%. In some cases this is because the time available for responses in progress is expired but, in other cases, the answer is recorded as finished even if the time interval to complete it is still open. Have any of you faced any similar problem? How did you solve it? Thank you in advance for your answers, Claudio
