Hi all,Please I am wondering if there is a way to store an image in qualtrics and then refer to this image via the embedded data value. For example, if I have an image name “rufai.jpg” my embedded data will be something like image1=rufai.jpg.I would appreciate any help please.Kind regards,Rufai
Hi,I am running a within-subject study that requires a nested randomization. Right now I have 10 blocks which are all randomised so that participants view them in different order. However, within each of these blocks I want the participants to see images in random order. Specifically, I want to randomly assign one image to each block and if image is assigned to a block then it should not appear in another block again for that particular user. I have followed the approach given by @TomG to use branching an embedded data. However, using this approach, I find that some images are shown to the user twice. Below is a screenshot of my current design. I hope someone will help as I am really stuck on this for days. Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi all,I hope this finds you well. Please I need help on this. I have a within-subject design where each participants will see all conditions but in random order. I am using a vignette study with two conditions that need to be randomised.I have been able to randomise the first condition using blocks and randomiser as can be seen in the screenshot below. Currently, I am trying to randomly assign images to each of this blocks and I want it in such a way that every block is assign an image only once and an image that is assign to a block should not appear in another block. Thanks for your help, Good people!
Hi all,I am hoping someone could help on this.I am trying to set-up a 2*5 factorial vignette survey. I am using the Randomizer functionality of Qualtrics to ensure that the factors measured in my study are presented to the participants randomly. I have two types of factors, one is text (n=5), and the other is an image (n=2) .Currently, I am able to use the embedded function of the randomizer and piped text to ensure that the text-based factors were randomly presented to the participants. My challenge is on randomising the image-based factors. As the study is 2*5 factorial design, each participants will need to see 10 vignettes. For example, vignette1 will have textfactor1 and image1, vignette2 will have textfactor2 and image2 and so on and so forth. Currently, my design works well for vignette1 and textfactor1. However, for vignette2, instead presenting the user with image2, the randomiser shows image1. I am wondering if there is a way to tell the randomiser not to present any imag
