Is there some way to only show certain "Loop and Merge" fields based on embedded variables? Here is what I am trying to do: * We ask which months a respondent has traveled to a destination. * Then we ask how many times in each month. * Then we are asking questions about each individual trips per month in a loop. So if they say they took 2 trips in May 2019, we will pipe in "your first May 2019 trip" and "your second May 2019 trip". If they only take 1 trip in May then we will pipe in "your May 2019 trip". I am new to Qualtrics (used to use Confirmit). So my thought was that I could somehow set up JS (although I don't know enough about scripting to do this myself) to a hidden question and then use that hidden question to base the Loop off of. Is this possible?
I am completely new at scripting. I wrote this script using examples that I have found but it isn't working the way that I want it to. It is selecting every option, no matter what I say at QID108. I don't know if it matters or not, but not everybody will be shown all 3 options at QID108...Can anybody please help me with what I am doing wrong!!! Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() { /*Place your JavaScript here to run when the page loads*/ var Month1="${q://QID108/ChoiceNumericEntryValue/1}"; var Month2="${q://QID108/ChoiceNumericEntryValue/2}" var Month3="${q://QID108/ChoiceNumericEntryValue/3}" if (Month1="1" ) {this.setChoiceValue(1,true) ; } if (Month1=>"1" ) {this.setChoiceValue(2,true) ; } if (Month1=>"2" ) {this.setChoiceValue(3,true) ; } if (Month1=>"3" ) {this.setChoiceValue(4,true) ; } if (Month1=>"4" ) {this.setChoiceValue(5,true) ; } if (Month1=>"5" ) {this.setChoiceValue(6,true) ; } if (Mont
I can't figure out how to make an error message come up if the total is larger then 24 hours for this question. Can anybody help me? !
We have 4 different languages in a study. We have specific jpgs that will be shown based on language they are taking the survey and we don't want them to be able to switch at any point in the survey. Is there a way to remove the drop down box that allows them to change languages?
I would like to make an embedded variable into a hidden question. Is there some kind of script that could be written that would "set" a hidden question? For example, if embedded variable "Market" was "Atlanta, I would have a hidden question that had a list of cities with "Atlanta" already selected. Is this possible?
I have a pretty big (for me) quota breakout that I am looking for a simpler solution. So I have embedded variable called "Market" that we populate using a database based on someones zip code. So it will tell us if they are in "Atlanta" or "Washington DC" etc. We use sample vendors to collect data and there are 4 of them in this study, each with their own redirect. So each sample vendor will be collecting 1/4 of each "Markets" overall quota. i.e. Atlanta - quota 400 Vendor 1 - 100 Vendor 2 - 100 Vendor 3 - 100 Vendor 4 - 100 So there are 40 markets with 4 vendors so we are talking about 160 individual quotas to set up. Any suggestions?
I am trying to find out the which days a respondent took a trip...so I would like the calendar to be able to have two dates picked. Basically and arrival date and departure date. Is this possible?
! I want to do a custom validation on this question. If they say yes, I want to force them to put in a number larger than 0. If they say No, they have to leave the number box blank. Is this doable?
