Side by Side Validation

! I want to do a custom validation on this question. If they say yes, I want to force them to put in a number larger than 0. If they say No, they have to leave the number box blank. Is this doable?

I guess this would not work with side-by-side design. It should work with multiple choice though. You could put a text entry box under each item and display it whenever an items is answered "yes". And then force to put in a number larger than 0.

I think this should be reviewed by the Qualtrics Design Group. I posted a similar request on this topic in December. https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/2946/side-by-side-question-column-2-depends-on-choice-in-column-1

@SamS - Can you please review my post as an example of this and how I can accomplish my request? https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/2946/side-by-side-question-column-2-depends-on-choice-in-column-1 For instance, if you weren't alive during the Presidency of Jimmy Carter, and Clicked No, then the Other Choices to Rate or add Comments should be disabled.
