I have a survey with a multiple choice question containing 54 values. A user will never see more than 9 values/options due to display logic controlling the visibility. I need to be able to display different text (or piped text) in subsequent questions. For example, in the multiple choice question a user may select "job shadow" or "performance group." In a subsequent question (labeled "Organization Name"), I want to display additional text based the previous selection. In this case, if the user selected "job shadow," I want to display "Enter the name of the organization where you shadowed." If the user selected "performance group," I want to display "Enter the name of the performance group."
I have a survey where I want a definition to display as read-only when the user selects that specific item. I have a single survey instrument where respondents are asked to provide information which will then be reviewed by another person. I have a text entry field where users enter an email address. The email address must always end with "@bsu.edu" and include between 3 and 12 characters (letters and numbers) for the username portion. The username cannot contain any special characters or symbols. I presume I will need to use RegEx to check for valid email addresses but I'm having difficult understanding how to write an appropriate RegEx pattern. I have written the following pattern but the validation still passes when a user can enter more than 12 characters/numbers before the "@bsu.edu" /^[A-Z0-9]{3,12}(@bsu.edu)$/gi What am I missing that limit the character/digit count for the username portion to a maximum 12 characters/numbers?
I have a survey that asks a series of questions for respondents to complete. After the respondent has submitted the survey, a notification email is sent to me so that I can review the response and update additional items (that the survey participant does not see). In this email, I include a retake survey link so that I can easily access/update the response. However, when I submit the updated survey response, the Recorded Date is updated to reflect the date/time that I submitted the updated survey. I need a way to keep or record the original recorded date. Any ideas on how I can accomplish this?
I have a text entry field where respondents must enter a minimum of 100 words (not characters). I have a survey where I am passing several values via a query string. Some of the values contain two words. In some of my questions, I need to be able to pipe the embedded data element into the question text. But I need to able to transform/format the value so that it is makes sense in the question. For example, embedded data "pathway" = "career-mgmt," I want to pipe "Career Management" in the question. How can I accomplish this?

In the next block, I am using a combination of loop and merge and display logic to present the survey participant with a series of text entry fields. Depending on the options they selected in the first question, I want to insert language/text to specify what should be entered. For example, the question on the second screen is labeled "Name." However, this field may display if a respondent selects "Participated in a job shadow" or "Attended a networking event." If the respondent selects "Participated in a job shadow," I want the question on the second screen to display "Name of Person You Shadowed."
