Hello again. I'm trying to use a third party service to look up a New Zealand address from a text input field and return an NZ census identifier. I've taken the original code from the service addressfinder.nz, and it is working fine in this codepen https://codepen.io//pen/vPMBJv, however I'm in no way smart enough to get this working in Qualtrics. If anyone had any pointers for me to research I would be grateful. I've used my own API key, but the demo key should work. And I've tried referring strait to the input ID e.g. 'document.getElementById("QR~QID4")'. Thank you! Dan Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() { var widget, initAddressFinder = function() { widget = new AddressFinder.Widget( document.getElementById("QR~"+this.questionId), 'ADDRESSFINDER_DEMO_KEY', 'NZ', { "address_metadata_params": { "census": 2018 } } );
Kia ora koutou, hello everyone! I have an embedded field 'colour_selection' which is populated with answers from a multiple answer questions in the survey flow. I would like to use Javascript to filter out specific answers, and then from the filtered list take a random answer to store back in to an embedded field to pipe in to a following question. (I would have loved to do this using a loop and merge, but it seems like it's not possible to exclude answers easily). I have limited Javascript ability, but have managed to get this code to work fine here https://jsfiddle.net/1etL6axn/ However when I try to run this in Qualtrics I'm getting a console error "colourSelection.filter is not a function". I get an "access denied" error when I try to post code here, so here is a screenshot. And I've attached the qsf. ! Is this a limitation within Qualtrics? Should I try to find a solution using JQuery instead? Have I missed something unique to Qualtrics to make this work? Thanks in advance
Hello, In our survey we will ask for participant ethnicity, and then branch to show only 2x of 7 specific ethnicity blocks in order of priority (for ethnicity A,B,C,D,E,F,G), and a catch-all ethnicity block (for ethnicity H to Z). E.g. If a user identifies that they are ethnicity (A,C,M), they would only see blocks (A,C). If a user identifies (C,P,Q) they would see block (C) and the catch-all. I've been trying to identify a good logic solution and I thought about incrementing an embedded field (Ethnicity_count). I would like to use maths operations in the survey flow, but I've not been able to get it working using the following: set embeded data ${e://Field/Ethnicity_count} = 0 IF ethnicity = (A) THEN show block (A) AND set embeded data ${e://Field/Ethnicity_count} = ${e://Field/Ethnicity_count + 1} Does this work in Qualtrics? Can anyone give me some tips, or another solution? I've tried unsuccessfully with Quotas, and I believe that quota's are more aimed at data across all p
