Hello everyone, I need to add a script at a "yes or no"-question. If a subject clicks yes, the next question should be shown. If a subject clicks no, it should return to the previous question. Both buttons, previous and next, should not be visible. They should just be triggered through yes and no. I can't make it work, I would be grateful for some help. Thanks
Hello, I created a new scoring category (pic1, pic 2) and unlike my others the values don't show within the block. You can see the block in pic 3. Subjects answer a question and move to a second question depending on their choice. If they press Yes, the subjects move back to the question and the score "Press Correction" should be 1. However the score is always 0 if they move back. Do you know where the mistake might be?
Why can I not say, if (Value > val) { var correctchoice = 1; } else { var correctchoice = 0; } Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData("Correctchoice ", correctchoice); or if (Value > val) { var correctchoice = "1"; } else { var correctchoice = "0"; } Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData("Correctchoice ", correctchoice); whereas this works? if (Value > val) { var Pruefung = "Take it"; } else { var Pruefung = "Don't take it"; } Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData("Pruefung", Pruefung);
Hello everyone, Is it possible to add a choice button that is invisible and that is always selected if choice Yes=1 is selected? Additionally, I need to assign a score to that invisible button, that is counted if it is activated? So basically, can I make the button disappear, but (1) still select it through javascript? (2) still give it a score beforehand? Thank you, Liss !
Hello, I am stuck with some output I need to generate. In my survey subjects can correct some answers after they get additional information. They see "Do you want to correct your choice? Yes, No" and get directed back to the question before, which is a Yes or No question too. My problem is that I need to know for each person at each question if he changed his mind. So something like if he clicked Yes on the change question, record the initial choice and the final choice. Do you have an idea how to incorporate that? Thank you
Hello everyone, I need a code to set EmbeddedData on basis of the selected choice. This is where I want to go: Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnPageSubmit(function() { var choice = parseInt(this.getSelectedChoices()); var status = ["now", "still"]; if (choice = 1){ status = "still"; } else { status = "now"; } Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData("Status", status); I have a very complicated survey flow and cannot use branch and bound or display to incorporate the logic. Best
Hello, I am performing a decision game through qualtrics. People decide to accept or reject project proposals on the bases of threshold values. Therefore I need to incorporate a matrix of threshold values (picture attached). Is there a way I can do that? My second problem is getting those values into my survey. Unfortunately i am not a programmer, but maybe you can help me with that. I need a Java code similar to INDEX that can access the matrix and return the threshold as embedded data. The rows and collums in the matrix reflect embedded data „number of proposals to come" and „number of projects left to choose“. Thank you
