I am implementing an experiment wherein I have configured embedded randomization (e.g., participants are allocated to condition 1 or 2). Within these conditions, they are then further allocated a particular order of blocks (1A & 1B; 2A & 2B). Within the blocks, there are a number of trials that are also randomized. Within these trials, participants must chose from one of two "gambles". At the end of the experiment, I would like to (1) randomly select one of the trials (doesn't actually need to be "random" since they are presented randomly) (2) check which of the two "gambles" they selected, (3) use a random number generator to decide the "outcome" of the gamble, and (4) present the participant with feedback about this outcome. I know how to do all of this in principle, and am pretty clear about how to use the random number to determine the outcome (#3). I'm not totally clear how to track the trials (since they're randomly presented), nor how to attach actionable information to the tria
I am trying to set up a longitudinal survey. In order to do so, I would like to send out surveys on very specific dates. For the initial period, participants will supply the end-date of an event, and I would like to pipe that info into an email trigger (or something similar). I know how to do email triggers, but there are limited date-delay options. For follow-ups, I want emails to go out approximately every 3 months after the initial survey completion date. I suspect this may require something in Contacts or JavaScript, but would very much appreciate advice. I would also like to set reminders (i.e., email every 3 days within a +/- 7 day window until participant completes the survey).
I'm trying to set-up longitudinal surveys for research purposes. I've worked out how to add contacts to a list upon completion of an initial survey, but I'd like to do a couple of things after that. 1) I'd like a link to another survey to be sent out immediately (i.e., upon being added to contact list, the new person is sent an email link), 2) resend the survey or another survey within a specific time window (e.g., 10 days from sending the first survey or on a specific date), 3) send automated reminders (within a specific time window -- e.g., +/- 7 days of a specific target date) to complete the survey.
From what I've read it seems Qualtrics does not provide display logic options for dates. Can anyone advise re: javascript code that would check the date a survey was being taken against a user-provided date(s). I want to allow survey completion if the date on which the survey is being taken corresponds to +/-7 days of a user-provided date.
