Why has Qualtrics changed this condition? :
Note: Custom origin domains activated before May 10, 2022 do not require an additional SPF and MX record; the SPF or MX will show as “Not verified” in the Admin tab, but the domain can still be used to send emails

My clientes is asking about this topic because his MX is already used by other platform... and they don´t want to use a subdomain...

Hello Alea
As mentioned in this support page, "To achieve high deliverability and open rates, Qualtrics emails meet all email-authentication standards. One of them, Sender Policy Framework, or SPF, verifies whether Qualtrics IPs are authorized to send emails from the given address. This address is known as Return-Path, Envelope-Sender, and Mail-From. To make all emails compliant with SPF, bounces@bounces.qemailserver.com address is used as Envelope-Sender."
Hope this helps!

Yes, the 10 and 20 are the priority numbers. The 'priority' numbers before the domains for these MX records indicate preference; the lower 'priority' value is preferred. The server will always try mailhost1 (server) first because 10 is lower than 20. In the result of a message send failure, the server will default to mailhost2.
You can find more information here (Google Workspace MX record values - Google Workspace Admin Help)
Hope this helps!
