Hello!
I'm trying to compare students' reflections over time. They'll respond to surveys of the same questions at the beginning of the semester (Survey 1) and at the end of the semester (Survey 2). So I want a summary of their individual responses to the two surveys to show up automatically when they submit Survey 2 so that they can compare the changes, and after that they are directed to Survey 3 where they will explain why there are such changes.
Is this possible in Quatrics?
I know how to assign an unique ID to participants and send email triggers. I also tried "end of survey" options but haven't figure everything out yer. I have looked through other threads about longitudinal study, but my case seems to be a little different. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Assuming the changes will be visualized only in text or numeric and not some graphics ( i.e. charts or diagrams ).
We can use contact list trigger to store the responses of survey 1 and then in survey 2 we can pull the response of survey 1 from the contact list. At the end of the survey 2 we can compare the contact list data ( survey 1 ) and piped in data from the same survey i.e survey 2.

@Xigui I do these pre- and post-assessments for two courses at my university. As Shashi indicated, the contact list trigger (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-tools/contact-list-triggers/) is a great tool for carrying forward answers from one survey to the next. I use the Ebedded data (steps 11 on in the help page) to store their answers to questions.
Survey 2 is then distributed through a mail distribution referencing the contact list made in Survey 1. I then like to use trigger emails (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-tools/email-triggers/) to pipe in their responses from survey 1 and survey 2. That comparison goes to their inbox with directions to reflect on the changes or lack of change. If you use this trigger email, you can add a link to the third survey and use query strings (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-flow/standard-elements/passing-information-through-query-strings/) to connect it back to that person's ID.

Thank you so much for your help! I followed your instructions and managed to use the contact list trigger to create embedded data from the two surveys. I then created a end of survey message with piped text to include a summary of the two surveys and an external link to a third survey.

I have a further question. I piped their responses question by question. Is there any means to pipe responses of all the questions of one survey together? I only have three questions for this study, so it's manageable to do it question by question. But I was wondering if there are more efficient ways if I have many questions. Thank you!

@Xigui I don't know of an efficient way inside of Qualtrics to pipe a large number of these. If the coding is fairly similar and you find a pattern, I have used Microsoft Excel to fill a series and then copy and pasted the values over from there to save on typing.
Another approach that I commonly use this for self assessment (pre and post educational experience) is to use scoring. We often ask about 20 questions, BUT we group these into competencies or skills using the scoring feature (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-tools/scoring/). Participants then will only receive their scores in these areas (3-5 areas) rather than seeing their results back question by question.
