Our team is excited to announce that the new homepage will be live on November 9, 2022, and is designed to streamline your experience and increase content discoverability by reducing the number of buttons. This brand-new, redesigned experience was informed by engagement and click data to truly optimize your community journey. Pictured above is a sneak peek of the redesign!

Redesigned elements


  • New Navigation

  • The navigation now has buttons to help you quickly access "Communities," "Topics" (formerly called Categories), "Discussions," "Groups," and "I'm New" (our onboarding experience for new users).

  • New Color Scheme

  • We streamlined our color palette to Qualtrics-branded blues, grays, blacks, and whites to increase accessibility and contrast.

  • New Banners

  • We designed two simpler banners, one to land on when you open the homepage and the other to segment content.

  • New Quick Tiles

  • Our new quick tiles are aimed to help you get where you need to go, faster. They also will be used to promote programming and other resources.

Hi, how can I search within the Product Idea Topic alone? I'd like to be able to check whether there is a product idea or not and when ever I do a search, it returns all topics.

AmaraW Thanks for the guidance. The bit I was missing was to click on the discussion button and then you can filter by ideas. However, when I search for Rod in 'ideas' it's only finding 5 entries. I have a few more than that!! For example my latest idea about dotted lines in a simple chart widget is not there. https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/22611/dotted-lines-for-line-bar-chart-widgets
it falls under XM Community› Product Ideas› CX Dashboards so I would have thought it would be there.
Please can you investigate.

Are you searching for your name through the Author field? I've found that the system is quite sensitive to the ways in which users search for members (we've reported this to our vendor and requested updates to the functionality).

I was trying to find all the product ideas either I raised or replied on so the key word would be Rod to search for I guess but in the ideas section.

I will let our vendor know that this functionality is being requested by our customers!

Good morning from a sunny Sweden!
I like it overall, however I feel that there are a few things that was useful earlier but not there now.
In this example:
image.pngI would like the "Answer Accepted" button to have a different color so I can see which are not responded to, "Answer Pending" was also a different color. It made it easier to visually distinguish between them.
It would also be good if it was displayed who responded last.

I'll be sure to provide additional feedback once I fins things.

I was able to add the Last Comment User information back in, just now 😁
The tag functionality you are talking about is actually a customization I implemented using custom code! Our team completely agrees with you and has gone above and beyond to maintain this community customization to allow users to easily differentiate between various Question, Discussion, and Idea statuses.
I'd like to assure you that we are currently working with our vendor to try to implement our customizations onto the homepage; however, I cannot guarantee that we will be successful. If we make any positive progress, I will update you here!

Hi Qualtrics Forum Team,
Got a few bits of feedback fro you whilst I've been using the new design...
-When you click on New Post it's not very clear that you should then click on "ask a question" discussions etc. Plus if you have written you post ready to submit and then click on one of these categories you lose your carefully crafted message. Might be better if this is a drop down list so that you don't lose your message?
-Also, Most posts here start with a questions and then it becomes a discussion doesn't it? So when would you use the discussion category when first creating a post? Could you provide a little footnote by these to explain when to use which one.
-Also it would be great as you type the subject / title, if there was a box below which showed similar posts as maybe there is already a discussion / question out there which might help (or maybe base it on the tags you select?)
-Can we also reduce the amount of white space the top part takes up so that at least you can see the top part of the recent posts. Our screens aren't that big so it would be good to ensure that the space is used more efficiently.

Unfortunately, there is no functionality that allows us to customize the New Post page. However, the standard new post button that you used prior to the homepage redesign still exists in all other parts of the community, just not the homepage.
We only redesigned the homepage, not the search functionality or the New Post page as they do not allow for customizations.
