TomG works like a charm. Thanks a lot and a good weekend!
Hi,TomG the code above works, thanks a lot!var qobj = this;qobj.hideNextButton();jQuery("#myLinkId").click(function() { qobj.showNextButton(); });But I have a question, can I use the same code to force the participants to click two items (in my case buttons), before the next button appears?So in the case aboe, something like:jQuery("#myLinkId1"&"#myLinkId1") ....Or do I need to use another structe (e.g. with on("click"))?Many thanks Robin
Hi, ok I think I solved it. I just hardcopied the link which is used in the email trigger as an hyperlink to the table. That does the job for me.Thanks anyways!Robin
Hi, I will keep trying. Thanks for your response!Although I do not think that it is a copy/paste problem. I think it has more to do that when used in the distribution, I think it is somewhat connected to the survey and uses embedded data (at least I cant find any specifc hyperlinks, the URL it gives is ; ${l://ChoiceLink/QID14/1} ). And maybe in the trigger it cant get to this embedded data. Below you find the code which I copy and paste. Maybe you have an idea why the hyperlink does not work (the table appears well in the triggered email)BestRobinSCREENSHOT 1/3 (Wide Format)SCREENSHOT 2/3SCREENSHOT 3/3CODE (sorry for the bad formatting) ${q://QID14/QuestionText} ${q://QID14/ChoiceDescription/1} ${q://QID14/ChoiceDescription/2}
Hi Tom, ok - that seems like a good starting point. Thank you for your response. Since I have 8 treatments and within these treatments there are 20 groups, I will need to be very specific with counting (each group is different), but that nevertheless should work. I let you know how it went :)
Hi Tom, thanks for your answer.I only thought I would use the API to connect some emailing service (eg mailchip), which has more mailing option (eg. resend to a new contact).How could this be done with just the API - have you seen this somewhere?Many thanks!!!Robin
Hi, thanks for your answer.I am aware about the reminder, and I think it wont solve my problem (only if I could change the To Email adress in the remidner).This is why I asked, whether there is another solution, e.g. with the email trigger or actions.BestRobin
Hi Hannah,in general it is possible to include Java Script animations in qualtrics. So I think the question is more, whether you have a library or a solution to do the animations in JS in the first place (seems feasible to me). If so, there should be no problem to integrate it I think.BestRobin
Hi, TomG ,I just read through the thread and was wondering whether it is possible to include the first question also in an email trigger, because the option does not show there.If I copy the html code from the distribution message (where this option exists, as you point out above), it will include it as a table in the email trigger, but once the email is received through the trigger the hyperlink is not there anymore.Any idea how to fix this?
Hi there, I have a related question, which is why I am posting it here. I want to run an online experiment on Qualtrics. Most things are clear to me, but my set up is a bit special so I am not sure how to best (if possible ) achieve the below points on Qualtrics:Lets say I have a contact list with 3 contact (columns are email adresses and VALUE A) and and a survey with 1 question. In reality there are thousands of adresses and more question, but that should not matter for the solution as long as it is automized.I want autmatically select one individual (Participant 1) of the contact list to begin with the survey (based on VALUE A).Once this participant is done, a) their response on question 1 is stored in the contact list as VALUE B (I can achieve this with contact list trigger), and b) and invite to the survey is sent to the next participant (Participant 2) in the contact list, again based on VALUE A. So it is a sequential setup.Furthermore I need that Participant 2 sees what part
