Survey Workflow, Export response to Excel use workflow task, missing derived fields, NPS group etc.

Hi All, I’m testing out the newish workflow task for exporting response data to excel  I’ve not found any support page for this yet so maybe it is documented but never the less… I have discovered that there are certain fields you can’t include or at least don’t appear in the drop down list yet when you do a manual export in the D&A section they do appear.  This includes: Recorded DateNPS_GROUPany derived fieldsTextiQ fields Is there a way round this? When I export manually I can see that the above fields have the following extra info: =Recorded Date: Recorded DateRecordedDate{"ImportId":"recordedDate","timeZone":"Europe/London"}  =NPS:Q01_NPS_GROUPNPS Question - Group{"ImportId":"QID3_NPS_GROUP"} =An example of a derived field:Q17_new B32 All meals CSATQ17_new B32 All meals CSAT{"ImportId":"Q17_ne_DERIVEDcbi44xe"} =An example of a textiq Topic (Textiq from within the survey)Q04c_R - TopicsQ04c_R - Topics{"ImportId":"QID9_TEXT_4fa5eba4135d43d890b5e933Topics"} I have tried a number o

Hi, we currently have a series of partially disconnected apps/workflows in that they are non-cloud based applications. Is there a known method/workaround for me to add Intercepts/Creatives to these applications, allowing in-app feedback/surveys to take place?Thanks,Glenn

Has anyone integrated with Gainsight?

We are looking to send a Qualtrics survey via a trigger from Gainsight. Has anyone done this before? I know that Gainsight has their own survey capabilities, but we are trying to keep it centralized. Anyone do anything like this?Thanks

Images sent in the Invitation email from Qualtrics don't appear in users Outlook

Hello,The survey invitation my company is sending from Qualtrics to our users are no showing up in the email they receive in Outlook. This is causing a terrible user experience plus low response rate because everyone thinks is SPAM (please see image attached).Does anyone has any idea how to force the images to appear in the invitation email? How can I fix this?Thank you!

How to change language of Google Maps autocomplete?

I'm using the built-in Google Maps Autocomplete in Qualtrics to let users type in their city. When they start typing, the widget shows suggestions, but all the suggestions appear in English.I want the suggestions to appear in Chinese (Simplified) when the survey is being completed with Q_Language ZH-CN.Has anyone managed to force the built-in widget to display place names in another language?Any help would be appreciated!Thanks in advance 🙏

Adding a field to the Slack notification only when its not empty field

Hi team, I am looking for options on how I can achieve the following ask: We have a field that comes from Salesforce that is not populated for all the accounts and we would like to add that field to our Slack notification ( from our customer survey) only when the field has a value.Example:if field [Partner Name] = XXXXX → add the [Partner Name] to the notificationif field [Partner Name] = empty → not add the [Partner Name] to the notification What options do I have available to achieve this?

Is anyone who uses Workday sending any data back into Workday? If so, what data are you sending and how are you sharing it? Are you able to integrate this into People Analytics?We are looking to see if there is any high level dashboard data we can present in Workday and are curious what others have done.

Extracting individual data from a contact list without using the list to invite (i.e. Prolific)

Hi folks - I need to pull embedded data from a contact list but I’m not using the list to invite participants, that is managed through Prolific. Prolific will send the participant’s id, which I can presumably then use to identify the participant in the contact list and then extract the embedded data. I’ve searched for answers and unless I’m using the wrong keywords, the responses I’m finding assume that I’ve distributed to the contact list rather than gone through Prolific or similar service. Also, I would rather not use an authenticator as this is a short daily survey for which they can use their phones. I don’t know if they would have their Prolific id on hand or committed to memory. Unfortunately I’m also not particularly adept at using an API Thanks!Chris

How to stop "click the button to continue the survey in qualtrics" on start up?

I’ve embedded the survey into a webpage. If the press “take the quiz” the survey would start. In some cases the questions just appear normally, in others i get "click the button to continue the survey in qualtrics" . A lot of my users are older and not very tech savy, so the extra click might be confusing them, especially since they have to scroll. Any idea what we can do about it?

Qualtrics to SuccessFactors Integration Issue converting in PKCS8 format

Hello Community,We are encountering an issue with our integration between Qualtrics and SuccessFactors. The error message we receive is: "Unable to load key." Trying to convert to PKCS8 format the a public and private key pair generated with the "Generate X.509 Certificate" button in the Manage OAuth2 Client Applications.Has anyone experienced a similar problem or have suggestions on how to resolve it? Kind regards

Qualtrics and Pendo Integration

I was looking to see if anyone is currently leveraging Pendo and Qualtrics. We have both solutions but want to pull in Pendo feedback so we have all feedback data in one location. Is it worth setting up a Qualtrics survey in Pendo or just work to use Pendo survey and push that feedback into Qualtrics?Would also want to see how easy it is to set up and what if anything to watch out for.

Calling Service Now API through Workflow or Survey Flow - Web Service

Hello Community, I am trying to connect Service Now API via Workflow using Webservice and it only works when i test but not when the workflow is triggered. I have whitelisted all the IP address for the region in ServiceNow.  I also tried adding the same webservice in surveyflow and while testing it works fine but while taking the survey, the webservice does not perform any action. Has anyone faced scenario like this and appreciate your inputs.

Passing embedded data to Salesforce issues

If you are experiencing issues with passing embedded data to Salesforce from Qualtrics, here are some steps to troubleshoot on your own before contacting Support.First please make sure that the Salesforce integration is correctly set up in Qualtrics. This includes verifying the connection between Qualtrics and Salesforce and ensuring that the necessary permissions are granted.In order to refresh the Salesforce account you can click on the Salesforce trigger/task, click “Back” if needed and click on refresh. If it doesn’t help you can also remove the account and add it again.Here you can find the requirements of the Salesforce Account/Environment.Secondly, ensure that the embedded data fields are correctly configured in the survey flow. The embedded data fields should be set before the respondent encounters any logic or questions that depend on them.To ensure your embedded data is transferring correctly to Salesforce (SFDC) from Qualtrics, start by verifying it within Qualtrics itself.

Send Survey via Email workflow task confusion

We have used the XM Directory > Distribute survey workflow functionality successfully for a couple years, and it’s being deprecated and replaced with this new task. Problem we’re having is it seems impossible to just send an email to a single person as in the old way. Our workflow is triggered by a Salesforce Outbound Message task, from which we establish first name, last name, email, external ID and other metadata. Step 2 is to send a survey to the email from step 1 and use other metadata for personalization, which the XM Directory task did perfectly. With the new task, the options for grabbing data from step 1 are unclear and after much trial and error, I can’t figure out what combination of piped text will accomplish the simple goal. Having to enter IDs for Directory and List (and Contact) feels like I’m doing it all wrong. Hoping someone here can assist, thanks in advance!

Intercept suppression rule

I have two intercepts collecting feedback from the users on a website page, I want to add a suppression rule that prevents the two surveys from showing at the same time even if I set up the display rate for both to 100%, how can I do that? I tried adding intercept → Survey Name → in this zone HAS NOT BEEN SEEN → in the last 60 Days but it’s not working

Generating Personal Links Marketo Rate Limit Issue?

I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem before and if they found a solution. We have recently connected Qualtrics and Marketo via the documentation provided. When I am in the Distributions tab of a survey and trying to generate personal links, I keep getting this error after I click the dropdown “Select Contacts” and then when I try select from “Marketo Lists” or “Marketo Smart Lists”. The error says “Error making request to Marketo. (Code: 606 Message: Max rate limit ‘100’ exceeded with in ‘20’ secs). I do not believe the issue is on the Marketo side as we have other API connections and are not running into this issue with them. Also, the 100 per 20 secs is the Marketo standard and a hard cap so increasing that in Marketo is not an option. Thanks!Ed

Hi all,I am new to qualtrics. We use Zendesk for our ticketing system. I have the survey created, now I need to find out how to send our survey when a customer's support ticket is marked as solved by our support staff in Zendesk. How would I go about this? I was looking through Qualtrics documentation and there were a variety of Zendesk options which left me a bit confused.Thanks!

Going back to Qualtrics where I last left off from Pavlovia

Hello,I'm currently working on a survey in Qualtrics which involves linking Qualtrics to Pavlovia and back to Qualtrics. I was able to make it work but the issue right now is that once Pavlovia redirects me back to Qualtrics, I am brought back to the beginning of the Qualtrics survey and Qualtrics would mark this response as complete. Is there a way that I can be brought back to the place where I last left off in Qualtrics? Any suggestions would be helpful! Thank you!

Looking to have quotas for surveys automatically update in an Excel sheet - ideas

We will have multiple surveys with varying quota limits going at once.  Currently, I’m manually entering the quotas in an excel sheet and trying to find some script, ideas users may have to automate this process.   Workflow:  Multiple surveys 4-5 going at once Export quotas or have Excel read the quota urls The data decrements in an Excel sheet for each demographic and study so we aren’t having to manually do it.   I have tried scraping data with Excel and it has failed so far.   Open to solutions and ideas.  If it is something to post in the developers or another section, let me know.  (my first post).Thank you!
