Every year, my wife and I listen to Robert Shaw Chorale and Orchestra' recording of Handel's Messiah on vinyl while wrapping Christmas presents. It is a wonderful point of relaxation in what can be a busy few weeks.
Hi samicoksan - If you add the attribute autoplay to the video tag, it should start playing in most browsers.I did a quick test on my account using your code and it is working in Chrome. Hope this helps!
While I have not interacted with enough individuals in the community to call someone out (totally my fault), I am thankful for the opportunity to attend the X4 Summit in 2019. X4 was an amazing source of knowledge, entertainment, and inspiration. Not trying to copy PhilJohnston , but I'm also thankful X4 is being offered in-person again this in 2023.
There are so many amazing teachers in life - both past and present. It is an injustice to label one as a favorite. The top of mind presently is Dr. Bryan Edwards at Oklahoma State. I had Dr. Edwards for the first methods class of my PhD program. He emphasized the importance of using both solid logic and sound methods to draw actionable conclusions. Dr. Edwards also stressed I was a great writer - an identity I had never assigned to myself. His style and demeanor set the model I would aspire to if I ever enter academia.
Hi MattM - Our organization (Missouri Small Business Development Center) sends out relationship surveys to a random sample of clients semi-annually. We have tried quarterly as well. We have enough of a database to warrant this, but do not have the manpower to analyze and implement changes frequently enough for it to be useful. Our local center supplements with a different survey every 18 months to our entire population of clients. The main things I would consider in deciding the frequency: How large of a client/customer base are you sending to? The larger your list, the easier it is to justify sending more frequently. Are you sampling or sending to everyone? Customers/clients easily suffer from survey fatigue if asked too often. This is especially true if you are also sending transactional surveys. What are you doing with the data? Data for data's sake is not beneficial. Make sure you have the resources to learn from the data and implement changes. Hopefully this helps.
Thanks for starting the conversation LaurenK. I an entering 2021 with great excitement. We are creating several new programs next year to help businesses in our region. Our office is gaining new insights both internally and externally (through Qualtrics surveys) with plans to integrate learning into our processes. I am excited about potentially starting a Ph.D. program (if anyone is on the forum with connections to Oklahoma State University business college, please reach out).Out of all the exciting changes coming, I am most excited to meet with colleagues and clients in person again. While I know January 1 will not bring immediate changes, I am confident the new year will offer more opportunities to meet face to face.
