OK, sorry, I figured out that it indeed works with the Edge and Chrome browsers but not with Mozilla Firefox… Is there any way to fix it? I imagine that the partcipants will use different browsers with different versions. How can I ensure that the script works on their side? Thanks!
Thank you for this, but the slider question appears without any delay. The delay for the “next button”, however, works. Any idea? Maybe there is an issue with the question ID?
@Prateek.DangThank you so much for this workaround. The first step with the text question and autoplay works very well. But I couldn’t manage the second step with the slider question: Shall I add the code in the field “question behaviour” in the respective fields (obviously the Onload and OnReady function)?Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function(){ /*Place your JavaScript here to run when the page loads*/});Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnReady(function(){ /*Place your JavaScript here to run when the page is fully displayed*/});Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnUnload(function(){ /*Place your JavaScript here to run when the page is unloaded*/});And the values I have to change in the code you suggested are only those related to the duration of the delay (which is obviously the 5 (sec?) and 5000 (ms?)? Thanks!
@rondev Thanks!
@rondev Sorry for asking again. In my survey I need a logo and a text in the footer. Here is its code:<table border="0" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" height="96" width="705"> <tbody> <tr> <td><img height="83" src="https://MyURL" width="192" /></td> <td>MyText</td> </tr> </tbody></table>Additionally, I need the question ID below or above this. If I add your script in the header section, I get the question ID but the logo in the footer disappears completely. Is there any way to have both - the footer+text and the question ID? Many thanks in advance!
@rondev Oh great, thank you so much!
OK. Its a bit complicated to explain. I could just activate “show question number” in the settings. But is there any way to modify the font and position of this question number? I don’t want it to be displayed in front of the question. I need it somewhere at the bottom of the page and in small characters… I guess there should be a way to do it with Java but I am not familiar with it...
@Akdashboard - Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, the loop only functions within the question block and I can't build the randomizer into the block - it always remains separated. Thus, no new random files are assigned... What I actually need is a loop function for the question block together with the randomizer, but this seems not to exist.
And the last question: How to repeat the whole question 20 times (each time a new pair to be generated) and for each time the selected choice should be recorded. Thanks!!!
@Akdashboard Thank you so much Patrick! It is such a great help! I will immediately try it out today. Actually, I have some programming skills in MATLAB, but basically none in HTML or Java. But logically I can follow the steps:) Best greetings from Austria!
Thank you TomG! It works perfectly!
