I have a similar problem where the option "add a page filter" is selected but it still doesn't filter at a page level for Measure group fields. Any suggestions?

The requirement is to store the value test1 in the embedded data which is Q5 CES Text. I found the below syntax to store the value in ED which I have used in the code.Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData('Q5 CES Text', test1);Reference Page Screenshot:

It is placing a placeholder text but it disappears when a customer starts typing in the box. My requirement is the default text should disappear when the customer clicks in the box. I tried doing it with on-click/onfocus functionality but it didn't help. Can you please help?
