For a multiple choice question, my impression is that getChoiceValue() returns whether or not the option is selected. Is there a function to instead return the text value of the chocie? For example if I have choices “East”, “West”, “North”, “South”, and I did fn(2), it would return “West”?
Hello!I am working with a Qualtrics survey and have created comment boxes using JavaScript for survey users to input additional data. We are capturing the data using embedded data fields and want to be able to use the data and analysis options in Qualtrics to view and export responses.I have a question in a matrix table in the Likert type that is storing and saving comments properly. This question has comment boxes for each row of the matrix table, and has comments storing into embedded data fields named comments|QID|# where the # is the row in the matrix table. For other questions, I have just one comment box below the question where comments should be stored as comments|QID# , but the comments aren’t storing properly. Can anyone help me figure out why one code is working and the other is not? Appreciate any help!!Here is the Matrix table code: Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() { var that = this; var table = this.getQuestionContainer().querySelector('table'); var rows = ta
I have survey 1 and survey 2. Last page next button of survey 1 triggers Survey 2. In survey 1, for Q1, participant has to select Accept or Reject and the choice will be appear in Survey 2-Q1, i.e., in Q1 of survey 2, it will say “You have selected ACCEPT (or REJECT)” for Q1. Can somebody please suggest how to do it?
I need a NPS question options to color when hovering and selecting. The following code works fine, except for the selecting part. When I select the option, it doesn't keep the hovering color but reverts to the default gray./* Color the question*/#QID10 td.LabelContainer:nth-child(1) label.q-checked, #QID10 td.LabelContainer:nth-child(1) label:hover { background-color: #E73F12 !important; color: #ffffff;}#QID10 td.LabelContainer:nth-child(2) label.q-checked,#QID10 td.LabelContainer:nth-child(2) label:hover { background-color: #EE5C1C !important; color: #ffffff;}#QID10 td.LabelContainer:nth-child(3) label.q-checked,#QID10 td.LabelContainer:nth-child(3) label:hover { background-color: #EF8200 !important; color: #ffffff;}etc...The strange thing is, the CSS code for coloring the options worked fine until I added some JS to the question to reverse the options:Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function(){ /*Voer uw JavaScript hier uit bij het laden van de pagina*/});Qualtrics.SurveyEngine
I have a Qualtrics question that involves participants drawing on an HTML5 Canvas element, and then saves their drawing (using dataToUrl). Below, on the same page, is another question that has forced response enabled. I need it to be on the same page as the Canvas question. The issue is that when Force Response is triggered, the page essentially refreshes - any code in Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload() is triggered again, meaning that all the canvas initialization scripts are triggered again, erasing whatever has been drawn. Is there a way to stop Force Response from re-running whatever is in Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload?
Hello everyone, I would like to know if is there any way to redo an loop based on a question at the end of the loop & merge. Here what I need to do :Q1. Could you please select the product to answer the survey ?Product AProduct BProduct CProduct DLoop based on Q1 Response (Product A and Product B selected):Q2Q3Q4Q5. You have answer for 2 products out of 4. Do you want to do it for the rest ? If the answer is yes, come back to question 1 and redo the loop for the new selection.
Hi everyone,I would like to use the Loop and Merge function to go through a series of questions. Additionally, I would like to include the timing question to get the response time for each of the questions included in the loop.As I understood for the timing question it is required to be at the same page (either divided over block or by page breaks), but I was wondering if it is possible to combine the loop and merge function with the timing question in some way?Any tips are appreciated!
Hi, I am quite the Qubie, so I was hoping someone could help me out. I am trying to set up a task in which participants randomly get to see images for only 300ms. I thought I could use the loop and merge function. In field 1 I've added all the image HTMLs and in my question I've piped in field 1. However, when I preview the task, I only get to see the image belonging to the first HTML in my field 1. The rest are just shown in the form of blank pages. I've added pictures of my field 1 and question. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
