Hello, Here’s my setup: multiple response question → next page: carryforward selections to a drag and drop ranking question, use JS to set those ranks as embedded data → next page: use embedded data to ask about the top three ranked selections. I had everything working until I switched the drag and drop question to using the carryforward selections (I had hard coded some dummy responses while I was building/testing). So is it possible to use JS to set embedded data from a question using carryforward? I’m using ‘ChoiceNumericEntryValue’ and ‘ChoiceDescription’ in the JS to set the embedded data. Do I need to use other fields? Should I set the selections from the first question as embedded data and use them in the drag and drop instead of using carryforward? Thanks in advance for any help.
Hello, I have a multiple choice question with 85 response options organized into ten groups. I’d like to collapse the groups so it’s easier for respondents to navigate the options (this is not a drill-down question). They would be able to expand a group, select any responses, then collapse it again. I’ve experimented with the accordion function in JS, but I don’t know JS well-enough to get it to work. Has anyone tried this and gotten it to work? Or is there another approach? Thanks in advance.
Hello,I have a PGR question that gives respondents 12 items, asks them to add as many as they want to a group, and then rank those (there's only one group). I need to set just the three highest ranked items as embedded data to be asked about later. It would be easier to work with the values instead of the labels, but either is fine. This question (https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/14303/rank-order-carry-forward-using-embedded-data) showed how to set the top three items from a Rank Order question as embedded data. This question (https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/16799/saving-pick-group-rank-responses-to-embedded-data-with-javascript) showed how to set PGR group responses as embedded data, but in my testing it doesn't always select the three highest ranked items. I'm trying to do a combination of these tasks. I'm very new to Javascript and am having a hard time figuring it out.Thank you in advance for any help.
Hello, I'm new to the API (and APIs in general) and getting my bearings. I'm using the basic Python code from the Reference Guide to download survey responses as a csv and that works fine. I would like to recode both seen but unanswered questions and seen but unanswered multi-value fields, as I've been doing with the GUI. The parameter seenUnansweredRecode takes care of the first part, but I don't see a way to recode unanswered multi-value fields. Is that possible with the API? Thanks!
