Hello!I have a survey in which I don't allow respondents to participate if they are on a mobile device. In the Survey Flow, I define an embedded data variable called "Mobile" which is 0 at the beginning of the survey, and I set it to equal 1 if the device is identified as a mobile device. The next step in the flow is an End of Survey element, as accessing the survey link on a mobile device kicks you out.I have tested the survey in preview mode, and what I see in the data is that there is no "Mobile" embedded variable saved for those who used a mobile device. I would like to know if someone was kicked out of the survey for this reason - what can I do differently to achieve this?Thanks!P.S. Other embedded data defined at the beginning of the survey (above "Mobile = 0") do show up for respondents who used a mobile device.
Hello,I have a question which is supposed to get participants familiar with a task they have to solve later. The question is a text entry, and they can introduce different numerical values and see how that dynamically changes a result.I would like to count how many attempts at filling in the text entry box participants make. Older suggestions mention ticking "Use legacy ViewResults format" when experting in csv, but this seems outdated.P.S. Hello,My participants get to see a doughnut with nine slices, generated using the chart.js library in JavaScript. I would like them to be able to press a custom button which, based on a randomly generated integer between 1-9, would put a black border around the slice corresponding to that random number.Thanks in advance!
Hello,One of my questions includes an image similar to the one on the left of the attachment ("Initial image").The question type is not hotspot: respondents are asked to choose a number between 0 and 10. Depending on their choice, I want to "grey out" a certain area of the picture, i.e. everything to the left and above the n-th ball, where n is the number between 0 and 10 which they chose. This should happen before they submit their answer, and they should be able to play with different values and see what happens before submitting their answer.I'm assuming this can be done using a filter in JavaScript, but I'm not sure how to do it. I do not wish to call the already greyed-out images from the Gallery: this is because the "Initial images" are more complex and too many, while the size of the greyed out area always varies with the respondents' input, regardless of the image under this filter. Hello,I am using random draws in my survey. I would like participants to be able to do a couple of "dry runs", that is, I'd like them to have two additional buttons on a page. The first button should initiate a new draw, the second button should show the result of the draw.After participants have understood how this works, they can initiate a draw which is final: for this one, they have to click "Submit" after initiating the draw (without getting to see the result in the same question). At a later stage, they will be told what the result of this final draw was.I'm not sure how to do this--including in which part of JavaScript to place the code. The changes should be triggered by clicking custom buttons, and it's not clear to me if this should be done in "On Ready".Thanks in advance!
Hello!I would like respondents to see a seating chart with the distribution of booked/available seats drawn from different distributions, which vary with the treatment they are in. This means that two respondents in the same treatment will not necessarily get to see the exact same seating chart--rather, the chart has to be generated for each respondent (from the distribution for the respective treatment).The number of possible seating arrangements is too big for it to be efficient to generate all images, include them in Files and then link them in the question. It seems that the only efficient way to do this is using JavaScript and jQuery. I do not know JavaScript; however, I have managed to find and run pieces of code to draw "true" random numbers from random.org (to generate the embedded data necessary for the distributions of booked/available seats).
