Hello, I am designing a between-subject study with 4 factors. Factors 1-3 each has 2 conditions. Factor 4 has 8 conditions and is nested within Factor 3. All materials are manipulated with a single image. If I include all combinations of conditions, I need to create hundreds of images. ! Is there a better way to make it in Qualtrics? Thank you!
Hi, I am designing a study that contains three conditions. Participants will be randomly assigned to one condition: no-alternative, alternative-one, and alternative-two. ! In each condition block, participants will first read a series of scenario. After that, they will answer a question of understanding: to proceed, they need to select all correct answers (1, 3, 4, & 5). Otherwise, they will be directed to read the scenario again. ! To accomplish this, I used the scoring and embedded data functions. I first created three scoring categories: ! I recoded the value of each answer as follows: ! Then I set three embedded data: ! And set the display logic: ! Finally, I set the survey flow: ! However, no matter whether I answered the question of understanding correctly, the wrong feedback was always displayed: ! I could not figure out which part was wrong... Thank you so much!
Hello, I am designing a survey in which I need to present scenarios to participants based on their gender. For example, when participants choose female in the demographics section, the character in the scenario will be named Amy. I tried the embedded data function and recoded the variable name in the way "female-Amy" and "male-Bob." However, it only allowed me to cite the variable value (instead of name) from the gender question. How can I make it? Also, I want to avoid the skip logic function, since it would lead to too much redundant information. Thank you so much 😀
