Dear all,As the question describes, I'd like to generate a random number but from a specific distribution. For example, there is 80% chance that the random number is 1, 10% chance that the number is 2 and 10% chance it is 3. I tried both the random generator from the piped text and Randomiser. But I failed to specify the distribution that the random number is drawn from. Any idea how to accomplish this?Thank you very much!
Hi everyone, I have collected over 900 responses for my survey. All of them finished the survey. But when I downloaded my data, I found for around 400 people, I keep have one missing response for the same question. I exclude the reason that they skip this question because according to my logic flow, without answering this question, they could not be able to move to the next one and finish the whole survey. So I'm wondering whether you have any clue about this issue. Is there any way I could recover these missing values? Thank you very much!
Hi everyone, I'm very new to Qualtrics and thus need your suggestion about my problem. I'm currently writing a qualtrics for an economic experiment. All question types are multiple choice. In each option, I need to insert lots of small images to help my participant visualise the size of that option. What I currently have is to insert a table in each choice and then insert the pictures in each table. And the following picture is what I create using this method: ! However, this is just for one product. I need to create something almost same except that I need to change the product picture (the dots). What I tried was that I copied the code in "Edit multiple" and then replace the file path with a new one and then put the new code into a new question 'edit multiple' section. However, when I click 'done', it shows an error. So is there any way to quickly replace these dots with some other graphics? For example, another question may look like: ! Thank you very much! Hi everyone, I'm using Qualtrics to run an economics experiment. Most of the economic experiments need to be incentivised. And my project is even more complicated in terms of incentivisation. In my project, subjects need to make 2 rounds of choices. There is one day time-interval between the 2 rounds. In each round, subject need to make 14 choices and thus after 2 rounds they will make 28 choices. In the end of 2nd round, after all subjects make choices, they need to be moved to a "payment" screen, where 1 out of 28 trials would be randomly selected and show up on the screen with a subject's response. And I will pay my subjects according to this screen. This is my first time to use Qualtrics to design an experiment. I searched a lot but cannot find useful tips about how I can achieve my goal. Anyone in the community may not give me some idea or some resources that I could ask for help? Thank you very much!
