Hello, I've been looking for information on how to create a pop-up button that when clicked brings up a box of additional information - but I have only found "hover-over" options and an option for using the "next" button as a pop up option. I'd like to have a button that says "Click here for examples you can use to edit or complete your list" that appears under a text entry form. When clicked, a pop-up window would appear with information. I am new to Qualtrics with little knowledge on coding. Is there a simple way to do this without coding knowledge? If there is another page with information on this already I'm happy to be redirected. Thank you!
To meet ethical approval, I need to insert a functional button into each page of my survey. The button will say "Withdraw from survey" and appear at the bottom of each page in the centre (between the next/previous). Clicking the button should direct the participant to the post survey debrief information page. Is this possible? I am trying to refrain from entering a multiple choice question with a continue/withdraw option because of the visual appearance of this and feel that it would make participation feel more tedious given the length of the survey.
Hi all, Is there an EASY way to enter an acceptable date range for the following scenarios: 1. Participants must be over 18 - so their date of birth entered should fall before: today's date minus 18 years 2. Participants child must be between 2 weeks and 12 months old - so their baby's dob should fall between: today's date minus 2 weeks and today's date minus 52 weeks If the dates entered do not fall between the validation dates I would like an error message to appear saying "Please check the dates entered. Please note you must be over 18 with an infant aged 2 weeks to 12 months to participate in this study." Having no knowledge of how to write JS, how might I do that? I would have thought it would be a standard function however the validation only seems to allow for the format of the date, not a range. I've looked at the library and can't see that there's an option there but please correct me if I'm wrong. Also, I've looked at custom validation and can't see that entering a range is
Sorry - this seems like something that should be easy to figure out but I just can't seem to get this to work! I have a participant information sheet that I've put together in a word document complete with all of the links and formatting. When I copy and paste it into a text/graphic question all of the links and formatting is lost. Is there a way to paste with formatting? The formatting features of Qualtrics don't allow for the same appearance so I've been unable to achieve what I want by simply reformatting it all over again through the rich content editor. If I try to paste into the rich content editor I get this message -Because of your browser security settings, the editor is not able to access your clipboard data directly. You are required to paste it again in this window. Please paste inside the following box using the keyboard (Ctrl/Cmd+V) and hit OK So I paste it in the box and again the formatting disappears - but maybe this is a clue that it has to do with my browser setting
Hi! I'm wondering if there is a way to create a validation rule according to the following survey items: 1. How many children do you have (here I have a content validation set up as a number entry - this part is ok) 2. How many of your children are aged 12 months or less? - I want to enter a validation rule here that this number must be equal or less than that entered in question #1 to avoid typing/misread errors. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!
Hi! I'm trying to find how I do the following: I have a measure which requests participants to list 5 qualities that they ideally would like to have. The measure then later asks participants to rank themselves against these qualities. Is there a way to pre-fill a matrix-table for them to rank with answers participants have provided from previous questions? If not, are there any other work-arounds that people can think of? Just as a side-note, this is the first time I've used any survey software and so I'm not familiar with some of the language or functionality that may or may not exist. Thank you for your assistance!
