Hi all, I'm trying to create a vectorized loop and merge that will create a number of loops based on the responses to a constant sum question. I am asking a group of contractors to propose the activities they will be doing in an upcoming month. There is a set of ten different activities someone can propose, and they can propose to do as many of each activity as they want (constant sum question). For each activity they will answer the same questions (name of the activity, length, location, line item expenses, etc.) (in a loop and merge block). How would I vectorize the loop and merge so that the contractor loops through all of Activity Type A first, then all of the Activity Type B's, etc? For example, let's say a contractor proposes to do 4 trainings and 5 focus groups. I would like them to first fill out info for training 1, then loop to training 2, then 3, then 4, then switch to focus group 1, then 2, 3, 4, then 5. Is there a way to perform a loop and merge from a constant sum so th
Hi all,Is there a way to connect a contact list with a drill-down question? For example, I want to track a student within a cohort across their time in high school. I add a correctly formatted .csv file to build a drill-down item. I can then select the cohort, then select a student within a particular cohort. Well, what if more cohorts are added? I would need to add a new version of the drill-down source .csv file. I'm happy to do this, but I plan on using a contact list to keep track of cohort, student name, a few stable pieces of information (e.g., birth date), as well as cumulative information that I would pass information back and forth to the survey via embedded data default responses. I would just like to use the contact list as the one source of truth rather than keeping multiple records of student lists (drill-down .csv and the contact list). Is this possible?
Hello, I've installed the full version of select2 for a survey I have and would like to enable dynamic option creation/tagging to allow for participants to add their own choices. However, everything I've tried has not initialized this feature. According to the select2 website all I _have_ to add is `tags: true` with version 4.0.x. I've checked StackOverflow and the select2's forum for the intersection of Qualtrics and select2 and there isn't much there. What is there is from older versions of select2 or stuff that I've tried with no success. The only hint I've found that might be restricting tag is that I have a select2 overlaying a text box, when some of the documentation states that I need to use a select box. However, this might be for older versions. Further, this seems odd since I've also seen documentation implying that using either a select box or a input text would allow for tagging. Is there something with the intersection of Qualtrics, jQuery, and select2 that I need to be
TL;DR: Can you use a drill-down (not a drop-down) within a text entry form? And, if so, can those drill-down items be separated within that form? If not, what are alternative solutions? I am trying to create a text entry form for entering and updating contact information. As part of that information, I want people to indicate what (arch)diocese they live in; however, (arch)diocese are dependent upon state and do not immediate follow state; ZIP code follows state. For example, Provo, UT 84604 is what people are familiar with, not Provo, UT Salt Lake City 84604 (where "Salt Lake City" is the diocese). Ideally, I would want respondents to be able to type in their state with an auto-complete (similar to https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/12/adding-autocomplete-javascript-to-my-survey) with a list of states (this would allow for default choices to be fed in from a contact list embedded data via piped text), then based on the selected state, a list of associated (arch)diocese wo
