Hi Guys. In my survey, I need some events to function if participants click on a choice option. I know how to write the code for the trigger event. However, I could not find the identity of the choice box. For example , in the following screenshot. I could make the code listen to the text ”apple". But preferably I would like the function to be triggered when participants click on anywhere in the box. how should I find the "id" of the blue box? I guess this should not be that hard, but I could not find it in the HTML code. I would appreciate any help here. Thanks!
In one question of my survey, I would need participants to click on options to listen to some words. I insert MP3 files into each option. Would it be possible to change the display of the MP3 file? For example, the default display is the following.Does anyone know how to make the bar display a word, for example, "apple", instead of the thing now? Ideally, participants can click on the bar to play the mp3 file. I would appreciate any help. Thank you!
Hi Guys,I have a survey that needs to ask the participants to split the opinions into two categories, say, "Like", "Not Like".I find it great to use the "Pick, Group and Rank" on Qualtrics. However, it would be great to customize it.I set all the choice in "Like" as a default, can it not display the "item" columns on the left? (Or Can I rename "item" to be Like?) ------------------------------------------------2. Instead of "Drag and Drop", if the subject clicks on an item, then it will goes to the other list? 3. Dogs Say, if one select 1. Cats. then an alert pops up that says "You don't like Dogs?" Hi guys, I have a block that is looping and the number of loops depends on the subject's previous choices. I need to save the choice and the unselect options in the last loop. However, I do not know how to specify in the embeddedData. I am guessing the following: selected = ${q:// e://Field/loopnumber _QID696/ChoiceGroup/UnselectedChoices}' unselected = ${q:// e://Field/loopnumber _QID696/ChoiceGroup/UnselectedChoices}' Where ''loopnumber'' is en embeddedData telling me the number of the last loop, which is defined by a previous choice of the subjects. Hi, I would like to give values to a sequence of global variable in qualtrics. To illustrate, I have set var1, var2, var3 in the survey flow. and I have define data=['apple', 'banana', 'orange'] in the javascript. I am using the following script. Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData('var1', data[0]); Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData('var2', data[1]); Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData('var3', data[2]); Is there a way to do it in a loop? For example, I am thinking for (i = 0; i < rd_option1.length; i++) { Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData('var+i', data[i]); } But it seems like qualtrics does not read 'var+i' properly in a loop? Is there a way to solve it? Thank you very much!
Hi everyone, I am super new to JS. Basically, I am randomizing my blocks but I would want subjects to know which question they. First, I put an Embedded Data "counter"=0 in the survey flow. Then, at the beginning of each block, I have a page displaying "This is question ${e://Field/counter} " Lastly, I have JS for each block like this: Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() { counter=counter+1'; }); But then it does not work at all. The counter is not changing. I would appreciate it if anyone could help with this. Thanks a lot.
