Hello, I'm trying to make an easy way for respondents to find their job using jQuery Autocomplete, and have been able to get it to work using this excellent thread. However the list I'm using for automcomplete suggestions contains about 7000 employments which creates problems of specificity. I want the respondent to be able to write "nurse orthop" and that the option "Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner" shows up. As of now, if words are written in the wrong order nothing shows up. The survey will be in Swedish where long compund words are common, like in German. I want the spacebar to not signify word order but rather that jQuery uses the spacebar to broaden the search. For example we have a job title which is litterally "Flightcruisedirector" in one word. So I want the respondent to be able to write "direct cruise flight" and still be able to see the definition "Flightcruisedirector" come up as a suggestion. Which would mean that the spacebar would signify that any character can come be
Hello, Does anybody have experience using a JavaScript spellchecker with a _self-provided_ dictionary in Qualtrics on textentry questions? I was thinking of combining it with jQuery Autocomplete so that autocomplete suggestions come up even if the respondent has misspelled the word slightly. The most used one I found for JS was this but it's not open-source or integrated into Qualtrics. Any ideas or experiences with options that is possible to use with Qulatrics?
Hello, In my experience it seems like embedded data added to a contact list is treated somewhat differently when a response is closed manually in comparison to when a respondent completes the survey. However, it's hard to pinpoint exactly what is different. Any suggestions on how to make Qualtrics treat a manually closed partial response equally to a response completed by the respondent?
Hello, Does someone have any suggestions on code for making Qualtrics "think" that a survey is submitted when the respondent has reached the last page of the survey? My organisation always have a debrief-section at the end of the survey where the respondent may leave comments on the survey and so on. Would it be possible to mark the survey as "completed" and not as "partially-completed" when the respondent reach this final "question"? A lot of respondents seem to reach this page and then close the browser, not clicking the final 'submit' button, and then we have to manually close responses which is tiresome and in turn causes other problems. I don't want the survey to actually be submitted (i.e. "click next button"), just make Qualtrics behave as if it is. Any ideas?
