Hey Jonas - truly appreciate the help, but I got the following error in the web console when adding that code to the survey header: [Error] Error executing custom js:ReferenceError: Can't find variable: jQuery(anonymous function) — SV_1FYIXoWeXj7epU2:9(anonymous function) — main.2c731849.js:1:30467forEachfe — main.2c731849.js:1:30448(anonymous function) — main.2c731849.js:1:137009forEachs — main.2c731849.js:1:136988(anonymous function) — main.2c731849.js:1:75030f — 9902.0c33c754.js:1:98000(anonymous function) — 9902.0c33c754.js:1:97785s — 4414.d8e4790e.js:1:240728 (anonymous function) (main.2c731849.js:1:30492) forEach fe (main.2c731849.js:1:30448) (anonymous function) (main.2c731849.js:1:137009) forEach s (main.2c731849.js:1:136988) (anonymous function) (main.2c731849.js:1:75030) f (9902.0c33c754.js:1:98000) (anonymous function) (9902.0c33c754.js:1:97785) s (4414.d8e4790e.js:1:240728) Also, I thought CSS only deals with presentation? To follow up on my prior post, it seems the issue I am running into was due to the original instrument utilizing the simple layout, which does not automatically support the ability to call the jquery library. Unfortunately, I have not yet found a way to call the library from the look and feel header in the simple layout either.
Just wanted to leave a note here in commiseration - I have also been unsuccessful in calling the jquery library into the header 😑
Horses are one of my absolute favorite animals! It’s crazy to see what they’re capable of. The photo below 10000% is not me, but wouldn’t it be cool to have that level of skill!Olympic-level eventing horse
jQuery("#"+this.questionId+" .TextEntryBox").attr('maxlength','5'); I have a current project that needs precisely this code for a character limit. However, I can’t seem to make this function in that particular survey. If I create a new/blank/generic survey and MC question, this code works flawlessly as others have mentioned. We do have choice randomization enabled for that question, but adding advanced randomization to a blank project/question doesn’t have the same issue.Help! 😂 Has anyone run into this kind of issue? If so, were you able to identify any other survey settings, etc. that were somehow preventing this script from functioning correctly?
