I can't tell you how many times I have been asked to do this over the course of my working life and I am in full agreement with Tom. This is a futile exercise. You can always get around such 'protections' with minimal effort. They simply give an illusion of security. Doesn't stop people asking, doesn't stop me shaking my head and saying "but...", ultimately doesn't stop me pointlessly applying this anyway. Certainly not a dig at the OP - just recognition that basic technical literacy in this regard is lacking.
Hi - you can do this by going into the Advanced Question Options and choose Randomisation... Then choose Setup Advanced Randomisation from the bottom option. Highlight all your responses apart from the "None of the Above" response and use the right arrow button to move them into the Randomise Choices box. "None of the above" will now remain anchored at the bottom while the other responses are randomised. !
Have you tried the Refresh Account option on your account settings? Worth a try if not.
Hi - is the letter at the end case-insensitive? If it is then use the following: `^00[0-9]{7}[A-Za-z]$` If the letter has to be uppercase then it would just be: `^00[0-9]{7}[A-Z]$`
Hello - I'm afraid that without knowing the import requirements of the system you are importing into this is difficult to answer. However, it is likely that you would need to upload to a specific XML format. You should request the requirements from the system owner you are importing into. You can determine the data that goes into the export from Qualtrics. If you uncheck "Download all fields" then it will export only what you have visible within the Data & Analysis view. It may be that you need to write a data transformation script to shift your export into a suitable format for upload.

Ah - sorry, misunderstood the initial question and thought that a translation hadn't been included for the progress bar. I see now that it has but you want to change the default text whatever language it may be in. There may be a better way to do this but you could always adapt the code to check the initial value and then based on what it returns then you can update the text. Also this is dependent on where the string is coming from in the first instance. Is it another survey question or is it a web service? If a web service then you should be able to split the string into the required array before the web service passes the values back into Qualtrics (at which point they can be assigned to your Embedded Data variables).
Hi - assuming that you have the string stored into an Embedded Data variable then you could add JavaScript to any question (after the Embedded Data is set). If your ED field was called 'myString' then the JS would look something like below. Stick it in the addOnLoad section. Note that the embedded data fields that you are writing to should already be present within the Survey Flow with no assigned value. This can be achieved by using custom coding on the question i.e. adding JavaScript. If I understand correctly then any responses <= 100 are fine. Anything >100 requires a custom validation message. First choose the option to add JavaScript on the Constant Sum Question. Use the following code as a guide (I have commented the bits that will be specific to your requirements and will need to be adjusted). To get the id's of the questions you need to sum in the code below you will need to preview the question and Inspect the HTML elements for the inputs that you need to sum. I realise this was asked a couple of months ago and this answer is likely too late. Hopefully it helps somebody else. It is frustrating that the Constant Sum question does not accept anything except totalling to a specific numeric entry. It would be very useful if you could reference an embedded data field or even a piped text value. It would be even better if you could also specify that the constant sum total must =, <, >, <=, >=. Anyway, this can be achieved by using custom coding on the question i.e. adding JavaScript. You can pull the value of an embedded data field in JavaScript and you can also find the fields that make up the constant sum question and sum them together (Use Inspect on the question to find the correct reference). You can then compare the two values. The script below should work for you. Essentially you are hiding the next button to replace with your own button that runs the check function when clicked.
