I have a matrix table within my survey which is essentially a list of items that can be purchased. In the first column of the response field is "Quantity", where the respondent enters how many of each item they would like to purchased. The second column is "total sales per item type." In this column, I would like the survey to automatically calculate the total sales per item type. For example, if the respondent indicated that they would like to purchase a quantity of 3 for item x, (which costs $3) then the column "total sales per item type" would have a 9 automatically calculated in that field. I know that I can use the math operations, but this would have to be on a separate page and not within the same question. My understanding is that I could use javascript within the same question, but I don't have any experience with javascript. Any assistance is appreciated! Thanks!
I need to see the availability of a group of students, I need to allow them to select what time works best for them for each day. Is there a way to do it without having it be in a text box?
I've created a mailing list and uploaded contacts to it using the API. However, I haven't been able to figure out how to share it with a specific Group using the API. This is possible through the UI either by using "Create Shared List" or by dragging an existing list into the Group folder. Is there also a way to do it with the API?
Hello all. I am trying to accomplish 2 fairly straightforward tasks that I can do individually, but I am having problems combining the logic. Goal: To hide the Next button on a specific page AND have the page auto-advance when an answer is clicked (radio button). Background: The page contains 3 questions. 1 question will always show (radio button question), but only 1 of the remaining 2 questions (descriptive text) will show depending on display logic. I also use display logic to hide an answer choice, but that shouldn't cause any issues. This is the code I am using on my radio button question (which is the first question on the page). Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() { var that = this; this.questionclick = function(event, element){ if (element.type == 'radio') { that.clickNextButton(); } } jQuery("#NextButton").hide(); }); New issue! I recently tested the top section of the code that is used to auto-advance on click, a the survey I am editing and I am getting the f
I launched a survey that was to be open for about 3 weeks. The default survey setting has it recording responses after just 1 week- a very annoying feature which I overlooked! I have several respondents who have half-completed surveys which are now "recorded" and closed, although they are not complete. Is there a way to sort of "reset" their links so that when they receive a reminder next week they aren't shut out of their incomplete survey?
