Hi all,I have a paid survey which has been targeted by bots. I have done the following things to stop this;1) Enabled the ballot stuffing feature2) Added a CAPTCHA3) Am adding the fraud detection feature to my accountDoes anyone else have any tips for other things to help stop bots from participating or detecting them when they do? Any advice much appreciated! Thanks,Melissa
I have conducted a remote RCT on Qualtrics where participants were randomized to receive one of two interventions. I did this by setting up block randomization with the intervention delivered on the final screen. For the write up I need to report what the block size was to determine randomisations (e.g. after X allocations the results were even). Does anyone know where to find this? I have trawled through all the help sheets but can’t find it anywhere.
Hello,I run an RCT with three automated follow up emails through the XM directory. We have come in this morning to a large proportion of bounced emails and it appears we have been added to a spamhaus block list related to the IP address sending the emails. I need quite urgent advice on how to get off the list. Unsure whether this is an isolated problem related to our study - or Qualtrics more generally? Two of the errors were as below:Remote Server returned '554 5.0.0
Hi,I have set up a longitudinal survey, upon filling in the baseline survey participants are added to a contact list. I have then set up three action tasks so that follow up surveys are distributed at 1, 3 and 6 months. At each follow up I have also scheduled a reminder email after 5 days which should only be sent if the participant does not complete the survey in that time. However, upon testing the reminder emails are sent to everyone, regardless of whether or not they have filled in the follow up survey. Why might this be and how can I ensure that only participants who haven't filled in the surveys receive the reminders? We don't want to risk annoying participants by sending them reminders for a survey they have already completed which could negatively affect long term retention. Similarly though, it is a large trial so we do need the reminders to ensure we aren't having to chase too many participants by phone, so it is important to get this right.Would really appreciate any advice,
Hi all,I have designed a survey which features a screening/baseline survey and follow ups at one, three and six months. I have embedded a participant ID to link responses across the four surveys and arranged for the emails to be sent out containing a survey URL with a query link so that the participant ID is carried across. However, the links in the follow up emails look like this...Does anyone know how I can make the links tidier - this is particularly the case for the first one where ideally it would just say 'take the survey' without any of the surrounding text.Would be so grateful for any advice! Thanks in advance,Melissa
