Hi all,I need to embed a .pfd file, which is located on my own domain, in a survey. For this I am using the iframe markup:The problem is that the .pdf file is not displayed, i.e. the where it should be shown remains blank but there's no error message or anything. I tried i) whether the file that I want to embed can be accessed (link to file) and ii) whether the code above works for other pdf files on the internet and both things seem to work fine.My domain is also secured with an https protocol.Does anybody know what the issue might be?Thanks!best, Laurenz
Hi everybody,I am creating a survey in which I need to adapt the positioning of questions on the screen for some blocks only. Specifically, some questions should be shown next to each other instead of below/above. Since the number of blocks with the specific layout is approximately 100 (although each participant will only see ≈ 10 blocks at random), I set up a custom CSS code that arranges the questions depending on the order of appearance (1st, 2nd, 3rd) within the respective block using “nth-of-type()”. So far I am using the following CSS code:#Questions div:nth-of-type(2) { width: 60vw !important; height: 10vw; float:left; display:inline-block; padding-left:1vw !important;}#Questions div:nth-of-type(4) { width: 40vw !important; height: 15vw !important; float:right; display:inline-block; padding-left:1vw !important;}[...]#Questions div:nth-of-type(10) { width:40vw; height: 12vw !important; float:right; display:inline-block; padding-left: 0.5vw; padding-right:1vw !important;}My probl
Hi all,I am working on a survey and would like to know whether the following is possible and - if yes - how: I would like to show participants information that they can scroll through in one part of the screen (say 4/5 of screen from left) while having them answer a question on the other part of the screen (say 1/5 of screen from the right), which does not move when scrolling through the information. The purpose of the question on the non-scrolling part of the screen is that respondents rate the information provided on the left side. The reason to split the screen in this way is that respondents don't lose sight of the rating question when scrolling through the information.Respondents answer the survey on a computer, meaning I don't mind how it would look like on a mobile phone, as I imagine this could get a bit messy.Does anybody have a solution for this? Thanks!best regards,Laurenz
Hi all,I would like to provide the respondents of my survey with information (in the form of a .pdf most likely) that they can access if they want to, but don’t have to. The information needs to show up on the same screen in an interactive way, i.e. it should show up if the respondent clicks on the corresponding button/link and should be hidden otherwise. At the bottom of the page the respondents should answer a simple multiple choice question.I can do something similar by uploading the information files via the Rich Content Editor, so that the file can be accessed by clicking on a link (see example: https://hhs.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1zsO1Ajk1BZZmdg). However, the uploaded file is then shown in a new tab when clicking on the links, which is not optimal.Does anybody have a solution for this problem? Is there a built-in way of doing it or can it be achieved through additional coding? Thanks a lot!Best regards, Laurenz
Hi all,I need to build a survey (platform) with the following characteristics (sketch of what it should look like attached): Respondents need to review information about application documents and then make a decision whether their evaluation is positive or negative. The whole experiment should be done on one main screen, which is split into 3 parts (see screen 1, screen 2, screen 3). Screen 3 is optional, its content could also be integrated into screen 1 if that is easier.Respondents should be able to access different types of information about a given application, by clicking on buttons 1/2/3 on screen 1. All the information that is accessible on the main screen belongs to the same application. As a result of clicking on either of these buttons, the corresponding information should be displayed on screen 2 (document 1/2/3, one at a time). This should all happen on the main page, i.e. the respondents should not need to go back and forth between pages to access documents 1/2/3 but they s
