As a follow up to my last post:I got it to display beautifully, but the question doesn’t seem to be storing the date value after completing the survey. I’m not sure if somehow it has to do with using the Simple Layout option for a Theme or what… I even commented out some stuff in case that was the reason, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference in whether it gets stored or not.I even tried to store it as embedded data prior to submitting the survey and that didn’t make a difference either.I don’t know how else to troubleshoot the data value not getting saved/stored with the survey response…. Please send help.
I have built a pretty complicated form which changes hands 4-5 times depending on the flow so all the responses from the different parties involved are housed in one single survey response. I’ve built something like this before and was able to develop all the logic to complete this form. However, this time I’m trying to store the files the applicant needs to upload prior to the final approval. As with other data within the different changes in hands, each time is a retake link so I’m storing and carrying over previously submitted data as Embedded Data. I’ve reached out to Qualtrics Support and they’re looking at it internally, but I wasn’t sure if anyone else has experienced this and found a solution or workaround. So what I think the problem is, is that when I go to upload a document and it’s stored at the question level, it stores Id, Name, Size and Type. But when I’m trying to store that as Embedded Data to carry forward to the next review step to be completed by another person (the
Has anyone found a solution to implementing Flatpickr with the Simple Layout? I spent way too much time trying to troubleshoot my implementation (which eventually was correct) and still didn’t display the calendar picker because I was using the Simple Layout. Anybody get it to work WITH Simple Layout? When I preview the survey block or question, I don’t get any errors or anything, but when I click in the input field it literally just does nothing...
Hello,I’ve created a survey with a file upload question and am generating a ticket based on that including the filename and URL. So the file gets attached in that manner. But what if more files need to be attached to that ticket later? Has anyone found a way to do this?I’ve been playing around and have found somewhat of a workaround but it’s kinda dumb and I don’t want to even propose it as an option to our end user.My workaround is:I have a workflow that generates a ticket, once the ticket is generated, send an email from within the ticket to themselves, reply with attachment then it gets attached to the ticket. I even attempted replying to the auto generated ticket email and a custom email notification but they were both undeliverable and weren’t able to be tied to the ticket in the same way replying to an email sent FROM the ticket is which makes sense because the reply-to email has some ticket specific information in it like the ticket key + some random ID. I wish there was a way t
I’m building an intake form with a few different branches. A few will branch and redirect to URLs after clicking the “submit” button (I’ve renamed them for what they do, but they are the last button), the others will proceed to the intake form. And one will end after a dropdown selection and will have a “Close” button and I’d like it to automatically close the tab.I found this post but it sounds like that does it for ALL Submit buttons, and I only want it for this specific branch.
I’m trying to embed a survey in a website contact page where the background of the page is an image and the container the form is in is a different color with a % transparency over that background image. I can get the custom CSS to work in the preview, from what I can tell, but then when I publish those aren’t being applied. It appears that the background color selected in the Look & Feel tab is still overwriting it. What I’m trying to match:What it looks like in Preview:Note the background is #FFFFFF, that seems to be overwriting the Custom CSS even though the preview shows the custom styles being applied. What the Custom CSS looks like:The background color for #page and the background image for body seem to be working but only in the preview. What it looks like published….
