We're moving from having just 2-3 people working in Qualtrics toward allowing numerous people inside, and with that we are arranging multiple directories, permissions, divisions, etc. So now we have many contacts in the default directory that we want held in various other directories we're setting up instead.Any idea how to transfer contacts into other Qualtrics directories? I'd like not to lose the historical survey statistics from the contacts. I do see how to export contacts, with the ability to include their statistics, but when I uploaded the file into the other directory all of the statistics got treated as embedded data attributes in the new contact.I'm worried about contact frequency counters resetting by doing an export and re-upload.
I've set up embedded data variables in the survey flow that are used in the header and footer settings in Look & Feel. These work well for me to change the header and footer during the survey. The problem is in making them disappear cleanly when the End of Survey page opens. Right now they visibly flash before disappearing. I've tried changing the text color of each to match the white background, as well as setting the header/footer variable values to empty. Neither eliminates that quick flash. Any ideas?
I've got a list of 100 categories that I want people to pick their top 3 from. Have setup a Hot Spot question with every category having its own region. This is working.I have their 3 choices Carry Forward into a Rank Order question so respondents can rank them 1,2,3. This is working. Now I want to refer to each of the ranked items in future questions, but the built-in functionality only allows me to identify the "Choice with Lowest Value" and the "Choice with Highest Value". I'm not seeing how to get to the second choice.I found some guidance online to use JavaScript to take the items from Rank Order, put them into an array and then fix them into embedded variables, but it's not working for me. I don't know much about JavaScript, but did make sure the QID# and variable names were adjusted in the script I copied.
I sent out a one page survey - four questions. Went to a large audience. Upon completion of the survey period, when I reviewed the Download History I saw a large number of recipients marked with "Survey Started" status, but those people didn't show up in the Data & Analysis tab as Responses in Progress; nor did they show up in Recorded Responses. Since the survey was only one page, if they answered some questions and then abandoned, my expectation was that nothing would be recorded. Is that what happened with these? Is that what makes them different than the people marked as "Survey Opened" status? Why are they not in Responses in Progress?
I'm trying to replicate a large medical procedure survey that asks the recipient to enter short numerical data for each procedure. The procedure descriptions vary greatly in length and that causes the response boxes for each label to be staggered very differently from one section to another. It also means some of the labels end up with a big gap to their corresponding response box. This would be much more user friendly if the response boxes could be put to the left of the labels. An example of the staggering problem is below: !
